Antenna device and wireless communication apparatus
An antenna device includes a ground plane, and an antenna element formed on a first surface of the ground plane, the antenna element including a feed point, a first line extending from the feed point to a first end in a direction away from the first surface, a second line extending along the first surface of the ground plane from the first end of the first line to a second end, and a third line extending along the first surface of the ground plane from the second end of the second line to a third end in a direction different in plan view from an extending direction of the second line.
DUAL-BAND GPS/IFF ANTENNA
An assembly comprising a horizontal GPS patch antenna element and a vertical IFF antenna element provides simultaneous high performance IFF communication and GPS reception with minimal IFF to GPS interference. The IFF element can be a monopole element. A second monopole co-linear with the IFF element can provide simultaneous UHF communication. In embodiments, the assembly is a blade that can replace an existing IFF blade on an aircraft or other asset. Separate IFF and GPS connectors can be provided, or a single connecter can be shared using an integral diplexer. Embodiments include a GPS preamplifier integral with the blade. In other embodiments, the IFF element is an annular slot transponder that is centered on the GPS patch element. Some of these embodiments are fully conformal to an underlying surface. System embodiments include bandpass filters and/or GPS blanking to further protect the GPS receiver from IFF transmissions.

Motor vehicle having a glass roof and having an antenna arrangement seated on this glass roof
The motor vehicle has a glass roof, an antenna arrangement seated on this glass roof, and a metallic frame. An opening of the glass roof is located below the antenna arrangement and is covered thereby. The frame is located below the glass roof and forms a dome, which extends into the opening of the glass roof and to which the antenna arrangement is mechanically connected. A reflection surface associated with the antenna arrangement is attached on the lower side of the glass roof. The reflection surface has a grid structure made of intersecting lines extending transversely to the z direction. The lines are provided with a metallization which has a width of 0.5 to 2 mm. The intersecting lines delimit free fields, which are not metallized and have a maximum clear dimension of 3 to 15 mm.

Broadband HF dismount antenna
Broadband HF antenna system includes a conductive radiating element in the form of a continuous conductive loop. The conductive loop includes first and second elongated conductor portions. The conductive loop is electrically connected at first and second loop ends to an impedance matching network disposed within a chassis. The first elongated conductor portion is comprised of a whip antenna which functions as a cantilevered spring attached at one end to the rigid chassis. The whip antenna is resiliently maintained in a curved state by a tension force applied by the second elongated conductor portion. A spacing or gap between the first and second elongated conductor portions to establish the loop configuration is maintained exclusive of any spacer or hanger element.
Wireless power transmission system and communication system
A wireless power transmission system and communication system is disclosed. A wireless power transmission system and communication system according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a transmission part which includes a first surface wave antenna, installed in a metal wall, for transmitting and receiving an electromagnetic surface wave flowing along a surface of the metal wall, and a first monopole antenna connected to the first surface wave antenna in parallel; and a reception part which includes at least one of a second monopole antenna and a second surface wave antenna, installed in a space partitioned by the metal wall, for receiving an electromagnetic surface wave flowing along the surface of the metal wall.

RADIO AND POWER POLE
A radio and power pole that includes a pipe defining a longitudinal interior cavity for storing modular electronic equipment (e.g., radios) is described. The radio and power pole can also include mounting channels extending longitudinally proximate to an interior surface of the interior cavity of the pipe, a structural spine extending longitudinally through the interior cavity of the pipe, ribs spaced apart from one another proximate to the interior surface throughout the interior cavity of the pipe, doors for accessing the interior cavity of the pipe, and a vent trap. The radio and power pole can be configured as a direct bury radio and power pole (possibly including one or more vaults). A radio and power pole can include a precast pier connected to the pipe and configured to support the pipe when the pier is inserted into the ground. A radio and power pole can include a bench disposed about the pipe.
