A wideband/broadband antenna is described, comprising a dielectric substrate with a first surface with an antenna feed with two conductors, comprising a first feed connection and a second feed connection, wherein the second feed connection is or acts as the ground. A first conductive layer extends from the antenna feed in a first direction and is electrically connected to the first feed connection, wherein the first conductive layer extends in a direction away from the antenna feed, and to a first end edge. A second conductive layer extends in a second direction, away from the first conductive layer, and is electrically connected to the second feed connection. A non-conductive zone separates the first and second conductive layers. On a second surface of the substrate there is a third conductive layer which extends from a second end edge in the direction towards the antenna feed, the extent of which at least in part coincides with that of the first conducting layer at the first surface. The first end edge of the first conducting layer and the second end edge of the third conducting layer substantially coincides, and the first and third electrical layers are electrically connected with each other at or near said end edges. Apart from said electrical interconnection at the edges, the layers are electrically separated from each other.

Dual broadband antenna system for vehicles

A dual broadband and multiband antenna system of reduced dimension is preferably an external antenna for vehicles. The antenna system comprises first and second radiating elements and a flat ground plane in common for the two radiating elements. The two radiating elements are placed above the ground plane, with each radiating element being folded to form vertical and horizontal surfaces. The two vertical surfaces are orthogonal to the ground plane and parallel to each other. The horizontal surfaces are coplanar between vertical surfaces and parallel to the ground plane. Two parasitic elements are connected with the ground plane, and are parallel or coplanar with the horizontal surfaces, and extend partially around respectively the first and second radiating elements. The antenna system is preferably adapted to operate on the LTE communication network and provides 5G communication services.

An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a housing including a frame, an electromagnetic component, a ground plate disposed inside the housing, a first radiating body disposed inside the housing, and a second radiating body disposed at a distance from the first radiating body. The first radiating body is provided with a feeding point. A distance between the second radiating body and a first frame of the frame is less than a distance between the first radiating body and the first frame. A minimum distance between the first radiating body and the electromagnetic component is greater than a minimum distance between the second radiating body and the electromagnetic component, or a size of a projection area of the first radiating body onto the ground plate is larger than a preset size.

ANTENNA EQUIPMENT

An antenna device includes a main circuit board, a first-type antenna ground-coupled to the main circuit board, and a second-type antenna ground-coupled to the main circuit board. The first-type antenna has a ground structure. The second-type antenna is spaced apart from the first-type antenna and an operating bandwidth of the second-type antenna is greater than an operating bandwidth of the first-type antenna.

OMNIDIRECTIONAL ANTENNA ASSEMBLIES INCLUDING BROADBAND MONOPOLE ANTENNAS

Disclosed herein are exemplary embodiments of omnidirectional antenna assemblies including broadband monopole antennas. In exemplary embodiments, the antenna assembly includes a broadband monopole antenna comprising stamped and folded elements. The antenna assembly is configured to be operable with high omnidirectional pattern conformity, e.g., at frequencies from about 617 megahertz (MHz) to about 7125 MHz or frequencies from about 698 megahertz (MHz) to about 7125 MHz, etc.
