A method for achieving multiple beam radiation vertical orthogonal field coverage by means of multiple feed-in dish antenna, comprising using a total metallic disc and plural feed-in antenna components, wherein it is possible to generate multiple sets of radiation beams by applying multiple sets of feed-in antenna components, and the coverage ranges created by different radiation beams may uniformly distribute there between so as to generate multiple communication service coverage areas. Moreover, since the field formed by the reflection of the total metallic disc is characterized in vertical orthogonality, advantages such as effectively increased coverage, improved energy utilization and radiation beam switches or the like can be provided.

ANTENNA ASSEMBLY, TEST SYSTEM AND METHOD OF ESTABLISHING A TEST SYSTEM

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide an antenna assembly for a test system. The communication system may generally comprise an external subassembly that is mounted on an exterior surface of the vehicle, and an internal subassembly that is located within the vehicle, the external and internal subassemblies being communicatively coupled to one another. Antenna assemblies are described herein. In particular, described herein are multi-focal-point antenna devices and compact radio frequency (RF) antenna devices. Any of these assemblies may include a primary feed that includes a single patterned emitting surface from which multiple different beams of RF signals are emitted corresponding to different antenna input feeds each communicating with the patterned antenna emitting surface. The antenna assembly is therefore capable of emitting beams in the same direction having different polarizations using a single primary feed.

Disclosed is a dual polarized horn radiator, in particular for a cellular radio base station, having a first polarization and a second polarization that are fed separately via a first hollow waveguide and a second hollow waveguide. In a first aspect one of the hollow waveguides runs in the direction of beam to its opening into the horn radiator and in so doing has a cross-section that extends in projection onto the aperture plane partially within and partially outside the aperture opening of the horn radiator. In a second aspect the two hollow waveguides run in the direction of beam to their openings into the horn radiator, with at least one of the hollow waveguides having a transformation section by which its polarization in the aperture plane is rotated with respect to the other hollow waveguide before it opens into the horn radiator.
