Vertical polarized antenna and terminal device
The present disclosure provides technology that proposes an ultra-high frequency band (mmWave band) vertical polarization antenna having a new structure applicable to a slim planar structure (e.g., a terminal).
Omni-directional antenna system and device for MIMO applications
Omni-directional orthogonally-polarized antenna system for MIMO applications are disclosed herein. An example antenna system can have two arrays of horizontally polarized radiating elements, and two arrays of vertically polarized radiating elements, each array having roughly 180-degree radiation pattern, disposed about a central axis in a common horizontal plane, arrays of common polarization separated by 180-degrees, such that MIMO processing of signals to the arrays of common polarization results in a radiation pattern that is substantially constant over 360-degrees in azimuth.

A scanning antenna includes a transmission and/or reception region including a plurality of antenna units and a non-transmission and/or reception region other than the transmission and/or reception region. The scanning antenna includes a TFT substrate, a slot substrate, a liquid crystal layer provided between the TFT substrate and the slot substrate, a seal portion provided in the non-transmission and/or reception region and surrounding the liquid crystal layer, and a reflective conductive plate disposed opposing a second main surface of a second dielectric substrate with a dielectric layer interposed between the reflective conductive plate and the second main surface. The slot electrode includes an opening or a recessed portion formed in the non-transmission and/or reception region and in the region surrounded by the seal portion.
Vehicle radar system

The first antenna array is communicatively connected to the radar control unit. The first antenna array includes a plurality of first transmitting elements and a plurality of first receiving elements. The second antenna array is communicatively connected to the radar control unit. The second antenna array includes a plurality of second transmitting elements and a plurality of second receiving elements. The first antenna array is a plurality of circuit board antennas and disposed on the first circuit board. The second antenna array is a plurality of circuit board antennas and disposed on the second circuit board.
Broadband panel array antenna
A broadband panel array antenna includes a polarization layer, a radiating layer and a feed layer which are sequentially stacked from top to bottom. The feed layer is used for converting a single path of TE10 mode signals into a plurality of paths of same-power in-phase TE10 mode signals and transmitting the plurality of paths of TE10 mode signals to the radiating layer. The radiating layer is used for radiating the plurality of paths of TE10 mode signals from the feed layer to a free space. The polarization layer is used for rotating the polarization direction of an electric field generated by the radiating layer to reduce the side lobe in an E-plane direction diagram and an H-plane direction diagram. The broadband panel array antenna has the advantages of being low in side lobe, high in gain and efficiency, and low in machining cost.
BROAD TUNABLE BANDWIDTH RADIAL LINE SLOT ANTENNA
Antennas and methods for using the same are described. In one embodiment, the antenna comprises an aperture having a plurality of radio-frequency (RF) radiating antenna elements, the plurality of RF radiating antenna elements being grouped into three or more sets of RF radiating antenna elements, with each set being separately controlled to generate a beam at a frequency band in a first mode.
Dual-polarization heat-dissipating antenna array element
An antenna element transfers a radiofrequency signal and dissipates heat. The antenna element includes a periphery and first and second pairs of fins. The periphery has a length and a width with the length approximately equaling the width. The first and second pairs of fins extend in height from inside the periphery. The first pair of fins are separated by a shared gap for transferring a first polarization of the radiofrequency signal, and the second pair of fins are separated by the shared gap for transferring a second polarization of the radiofrequency signal that is orthogonal to the first polarization. An antenna array includes multiple instances of the antenna element for transferring the radiofrequency signal and for dissipating the heat.
Topside heatsinking antenna launcher for an integrated circuit package
A mechanism is provided to remove heat from an integrated circuit (IC) device die by directing heat through a waveguide to a heat sink. The waveguide is mounted on top of a package containing the IC device die. The waveguide is thermally coupled to the IC device die. The waveguide transports the heat to a heat sink coupled to the waveguide and located adjacent to the package on top of a printed circuit board on which the package is mounted. Embodiments provide both thermal dissipation of the generated heat while at the same time maintaining good radio frequency performance of the waveguide.
Terahertz security inspection robot
A terahertz security inspection robot is provided, including: a housing including a main housing and a head housing rotatably connected to the main housing; a terahertz wave imaging mechanism including a mirror assembly arranged in the head housing and a detector array arranged in the main housing; and a rotating mechanism configured to cause the head housing and the mirror assembly located in the head housing to rotate with respect to the main housing, so that the mirror assembly of the terahertz wave imaging mechanism is oriented in different directions to respectively perform terahertz scanning and imaging on objects to be inspected in different inspection regions in a security inspection scene.

The phased array antenna includes a support structure and a first antenna module coupled to the support structure. The first antenna module element has a rectangular shape and includes a first set of antenna elements arranged as a first row and a second row within the rectangular shape. An antenna element of the first row and two antenna elements of the second row form a triangular pattern. Two adjacent antenna elements of the first set of antenna elements are separated by a first distance. Each antenna element of the first set of antenna elements has a first size that is less than half of the first distance.
