Multi-contact terminal
A multi-contact terminal is provided integrally with an angular tube having a polygonal tube shape and a plurality of resilient contact pieces extending from side walls of the angular tube and to be resiliently brought into contact with an outer peripheral surface of a mating terminal in the form of a round bar inside the angular tube. According to this configuration, the angular tube functions as a cover for protecting the resilient contact pieces. In addition, since the resilient contact pieces and the angular tube are integrated, the number of components can be reduced. The resilient contact pieces are equal in length in a connecting direction to the mating terminal and arranged at positions different in the connecting direction to the mating terminal.
Underwater connecting apparatus and assemblies
A cable termination apparatus for an underwater cable with a conductive core, an axially extending annular insulation portion radially outwardly of the core and an axially extending annular conductive screen layer radially outwardly of the insulation portion. The apparatus having a stress control sleeve, located radially outwardly of the insulation portion and extending partially over the annular conductive screen layer. The stress control sleeve includes an insulating portion and a conductive portion. When the cable termination apparatus is assembled the conductive portion of the stress control sleeve is in contact with an end portion of the screen layer.
Connection method for connecting an isolated micro-conductor
The present invention relates to a method for connecting a strand of a multi-strand cable to an electrode of an implantable medical device. The method includes cutting a strand of the multi-strand cable lifting at least one of the free ends, stripping the end of the lifted strand, placing an electrode around the multi-strand cable to partially cover the end of the lifted and stripped stand, and connecting at least one portion of the stripped end of the strand to the electrode.
ELECTRICAL WIRE WITH TERMINAL FITTING AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING ELECTRICAL WIRE WITH TERMINAL FITTING
An electrical wire with a terminal fitting that can be manufactured without using a welding device, and a method of manufacturing this electrical wire with a terminal fitting. Metal foil is wrapped around end portions of the braided wire, and terminal fittings are connected to the end portions. According to this configuration, the metal foil makes it possible to prevent strands in the end portions of the braided wire from becoming loose and spreading apart, and this makes it possible to manufacture the electrical wire with a terminal fitting without using a welding device.
Crimp connection and crimp method for a crimp assembly with at least one retention shoulder
A crimp assembly for electrically contacting a conductive component of an electrical cable includes an anvil bushing and a compression sleeve. The anvil bushing has a retention shoulder extending circumferentially on an outer peripheral surface of the anvil bushing and supporting a section of the conductive component. The compression sleeve has an inner diameter larger than an outer diameter of the retention shoulder.
CONNECTOR
A connector includes a housing, a terminal, and an electric wire line. The housing is fittable to a mating housing that houses a mating terminal. The terminal is housed in the housing, and includes a tubular electric connection portion into which the mating terminal is inserted. The electric wire line includes at least a terminal end portion housed in the housing, and is electrically connected to the terminal. In the connector, the electric connection portion houses a multi-contact coil spring that is formed to have an elastically-deformable annular shape, is electrically connected to the electric connection portion, and is brought into contact at a plurality positions with the mating terminal inserted thereinto, and the terminal and at least the terminal end portion of the electric wire line are insert-molded in the housing.
TERMINAL MODULE
A terminal module includes a cable, inner conductor terminals, and a positioning member. The cable includes a core, a shield member and a sheath. The core includes a core body portion to be arranged on an inner peripheral side of the sheath and a core extending portion extending from the core body portion and to be arranged closer to a tip of the cable than a tip of the sheath. The shield member includes a shield member body portion to be arranged on an outer peripheral side of the core body portion and arranged on an inner peripheral side of the sheath and a shield member extending portion extending from a tip of the shield member body portion and to be arranged on an outer peripheral side of the core extending portion.
High Voltage Connection And Method For Manufacturing A High Voltage Connection
A high voltage connection between a first line of a traveling wave tube and a second line of a voltage supply unit for the traveling wave tube includes a plug which is connected to an end section of the first line or of the second line by a crimp connection, and a socket which is connected to an end section of the other line by a crimp connection. Furthermore, a method for manufacturing a high voltage connection is also described.
BUSBAR TERMINAL, BUSBAR TERMINAL CONNECTION STRUCTURE, AND BUSBAR TERMINAL CONNECTION METHOD
A bulbar terminal includes a fastening portion, a crimping portion, and a torsion portion. The fastening portion is electrically connected to a terminal base. The crimping portion is electrically connected to a conducting wire. The torsion portion electrically connects the fastening portion and the crimping portion. The torsion portion includes a twisted part between the fastening portion and the crimping portion.
Bonding line attachment
A bonding wire conductively connected to a pipe having a pipe body and a conductive tab mounted to the pipe and having a hole therein, the bonding wire being in the form of a braided conductive cable provided with a connector at each of its ends, the bonding wire being tightly wound around the pipe body and the ends both passing through the hole in the connector such that the ends of the bonding wire extend away from the pipe body after passing through the hole, while a portion of the bonding wire between the end portions is wrapped tightly around the pipe body; the bonding wire held under tension around the pipe body by a crimp around the two end portions where they pass through the hole.
