A method includes a placing step in which an end portion of a covered electric wire is placed on an inner surface of a barrel portion along an axial direction such that a tip of the aluminum core wire overlaps a second portion of a seal member attached close to a terminal portion, and a crimping step in which the barrel portion is wound around and crimped to the end portion, thereby fixing the crimp terminal to the end portion and sealing, with the seal member, a space between the inner barrel piece and the outer barrel piece, an opening of the barrel portion formed cylindrical located on a side of the terminal portion, and a space between the covered portion and the barrel portion.

Electrical Connection Device, A Method of Manufacturing an Electrical Cable and A Manufactured Electrical Coaxial Cable

An electrical connection device comprises a cable, a ferrule, and a first electrical contact. The cable has an outer conductor surrounding an inner conductor. The ferrule is mechanically connected to the outer conductor. The first electrical contact is electrically connected to the inner conductor.

ELECTRICAL CRIMP TERMINAL

An electrical terminal includes a crimp barrel having an interior side and an exterior side. The interior side of the crimp barrel defines a channel that extends along a longitudinal axis. The crimp barrel is configured to mechanically hold and electrically connect to one or more electrical conductors of an electrical device received in the channel. The crimp barrel includes multiple primary serrations spaced apart along the longitudinal axis. The primary serrations are groove-shaped recesses formed along the interior side. Adjacent primary serrations are separated from one another by a band. The crimp barrel further includes at least one micro-serration on the band. Each micro-serration is a groove-shaped recess formed along the interior side that has a smaller size relative to the primary serrations.

Electrical crimp contact

An electrical crimp contact that crimps onto an electrical cable has a conductor crimp region for an electrical connection of a conductor of the cable, the conductor crimp region having a fixing device for fixing the conductor. In a blank of the contact, the fixing device of the conductor crimp region extends at an oblique angle with respect to a longitudinal axis of the contact.

Crimp-connection structural body, wire harness, method of manufacturing crimp-connection structural body, and device of manufacturing crimp-connection structural body

A crimp-connection structural body, a wire harness, a method of manufacturing a crimp-connection structural body, and a manufacturing device are provided. The crimp-connection structural body includes an insulated wire formed by covering a conductor by an insulating cover, and a crimp terminal having a crimp section allowing connection by crimp of a conductor exposed portion formed by exposing the conductor. The crimp section is formed of a closed-barrel-type crimp section, and a cross-sectional shape of the crimp section in a radial direction is formed into an approximately recessed cross-sectional shape having a crimp recessed portion formed by indenting by inclined portions inclined from positions spaced-apart from each other by a predetermined distance. The predetermined distance is set to 90% or less of an entire width of the crimp section. An opposedly facing angle made by the inclined portions is set to a value which ranges from 10° to 120° inclusive.

SIGNAL TRANSMISSION TERMINAL, SAMPLING DEVICE, BATTERY MODULE AND DEVICE

A signal transmission terminal, a sampling device, a battery module and a device are disclosed. The signal transmission terminal is used for the sampling device. The sampling device includes a conductive sheet. The signal transmission terminal includes a first connecting portion, a second connecting portion and a bendable portion. The first connecting portion is used for being connected to the conductive sheet and is provided with a raised portion. The second connecting portion is connected to the first connecting portion and is used for being connected to a sampling object. The bendable portion is used for being connected to the first connecting portion. The bendable portion is configured to press the conductive sheet between the first connecting portion and the bendable portion after being bent. The above signal transmission terminal can improve connection stability with the conductive sheet, such that reliability of sampling precision can be guaranteed.

Staking terminal for a coaxial cable

A staking terminal includes a conductor portion having a conductor platform, a first plurality of tines extending from the conductor platform, and a conductor crimp extending from the conductor platform. The conductor platform and the tines are not coplanar in a folded configuration. The staking terminal further includes a ground portion having a ground platform, a second plurality of tines extending from the ground platform, and a first braid crimp extending from the ground platform. The ground platform and the tines are not coplanar in the folded configuration.
