WIRE CONNECTION DEVICE
20190140369 · 2019-05-09 ·

A wire connection device includes an electrical wire, an insulation displacement terminal and a stress relaxation member. The electrical wire includes a conductor and an insulation coating on an outer periphery of the conductor. The insulation displacement terminal has a slot in which the electrical wire is fitted. The insulation displacement terminal is connected to the electrical wire by both side portions of the slot being in direct contact with the conductor and pressing the conductor elastically and plastically. The stress relaxation member is fitted in the slot of the insulation displacement terminal to suppress deterioration of a stress applied to the electrical wire.

Electrical connector

An electrical contact includes a main body and a compliant pin extending from the main body. The compliant pin includes a through-hole. The compliant pin is configured to be compressed. The electrical contact also includes a first leg and a second leg that each extend from the main body. The compliant pin is between the first leg and the second leg. The compliant pin, the first leg, and the second leg extend from the main body in a same direction. The electrical contact further includes a first blade and a second blade that each extend from the main body. A slot is formed between the first blade and the second blade, and a width of the slot is larger at a first position adjacent a distal end of the first and second blades than at a second position adjacent a proximal end of the first and second blades.

Provided is a terminal for an electric wire connector including: a central erection piece configured to have cutting portions inclined downward and outward on both sides of its upper portion; a pair of outer erection pieces configured to be spaced apart at a desired interval on both sides of the central erection piece and have cutting portions that are inclined downward on the upper portion; a connector configured to connect the central erection piece and lower portions of the pair of outer erection pieces; an electrical wire entry portion configured to be a space through which the cutting portions face each other and be a path under which the electrical wire enters; and a core wire connector configured to be arranged on the lower portion communicating with the electric wire entry portion and be a space to connect the central erection piece and the outer erection piece.

Electrical connector having crosstalk compensation insert

An electrical connector includes a front wire terminal and a rear wire terminal. The front wire terminal and the rear wire terminal are configured to couple to a conductor of a cable. A front signal trace is coupled to the front wire terminal. A rear signal trace is coupled to the rear wire terminal. The front signal trace is positioned adjacent to the rear signal trace. A front mating contact is coupled to the front signal trace. A rear mating contact is coupled to the rear signal trace. The front signal trace conveys an electrical signal between the front wire terminal and the front mating contact. The rear signal trace conveys an electrical signal between the rear wire terminal and the rear mating contact. An electro-mechanical compensation is positioned between the front signal trace and the rear signal trace to control crosstalk between the front signal trace and the rear signal trace.

ELECTRIC MOTOR FOR USE IN PRESSURIZED FLUID ENVIRONMENT

An electric motor built for exposure to high pressure fluid includes a unitary metal sleeve that provides a fluid barrier between the rotor and the stator. An overmolded resin encapsulates the stator windings and reinforces the sleeve to minimize deformation of the sleeve under high fluid pressures. The overmolded resin also fixes the positions of insulation displacement connectors connected to the stator windings, thereby avoiding mechanical brackets and fasteners for holding the insulation displacement connectors in position.

Rearview mirror assembly with biased electrical connection
