Electrical connection for motor vehicle cable
A connection comprising, a connecting part, a sleeve materially bonded to the connecting part and having a through-opening extending in a longitudinal direction, and a bolt connected to the sleeve and having a bolt shank and a bolt flange, the bolt being crimped with its bolt shank in the longitudinal direction in the through-opening of the sleeve, the bolt is arranged with its bolt flange in a recess arranged at a front face of the sleeve, characterized in that the sleeve is connected to the connecting part by its front face located at the front face end.
Pressure bar for connectors
An electrical connector includes a split bolt, a fastener component, and a pressure bar. The split bolt includes a base, a first upright member, a second upright member, and a conductor receiving channel defined between the first and second upright members. The fastener component has a top surface, a bottom surface, and an opening receiving the first and second upright members. The pressure bar has a bottom section, a first leg, and a second leg. The pressure bar is movably received in the conductor receiving channel.
Cable fastening terminal block
A cable fastening terminal block (10) used for a cable (100) includes a base (1), a fastening terminal member (2), and a screw (3). The base (1) includes an opening hole (11) and a through hole (12) formed alternatively and connected with each other. The fastening terminal member (2) is received inside the base (1) and corresponding to the opening hole (11) and the through hole (12). The fastening terminal member (2) includes a terminal slab (21) having a top end (211) formed of an engagement portion (22) extended along the opening hole (11) axially and a guiding extension piece (23) extended along the through hole (12) axially. The cable (100) penetrates through hole (12) and is placed on the guiding extension piece (23). The screw (3) penetrates opening hole (11) and is engaged with engagement portion (22). The screw (3) and the guiding extension piece jointly clamp the cable.
Battery connector for generator
A connector of a generator for connecting a battery terminal to the generator. The connector includes a fixed base, a rotatable base, and a receiver. The fixed base includes a first locking member. The rotatable base is coupled to the fixed base and is rotatable 360 relative to the fixed base. The rotatable base includes a second locking member that is configured to cooperate with the first locking member to prevent rotation of the rotatable base relative to the fixed base when the first locking member is in cooperation with the second locking member. The receiver is at the rotatable base and is configured to receive the battery terminal and retain the battery terminal at the rotatable base.
Power relay for a vehicle
A power relay for a vehicle, in particular a utility vehicle, is disclosed. The power relay contains a housing formed by a connecting base and a housing pot that is placed on the connecting base. Accordingly, two connecting bolts for establishing contact with an on-load circuit are formed by standard screws.
Cable terminal protection arrangement
A cable terminal protection arrangement according to the disclosure comprises a cable terminal and a cable terminal protector to protect the cable terminal. The cable terminal comprises an end piece. The cable terminal protector comprises a housing and a suspension unit located within the housing. The suspension unit comprises a holding element for holding the end piece and an arm connecting the holding element to the housing. The holding element is displaceable relative to the housing from a first position to a second position, wherein, in the first position, a major portion of a second surface of the end piece is covered by the holding element, and in the second position, the end piece is outside the holding element. The disclosure also relates to a kit comprising the cable terminal protection arrangement and a fastening element, and to a method of attaching the cable terminal protection arrangement to an object.
Systems for backfeeding photovoltaic arrays through main breaker boxes
A circuit breaker system is provided that receives combined power inputs from a utility and from an alternative energy source for backfeeding to the utility through a standard breaker box without overloading the bus bars of the breaker box.
Cable connector with backshell locking
A cable connector that includes a housing that receives a contact member and has opposite first and second ends, an inner sleeve having an insert section extending into the second end of the housing and a cable termination section for receiving a cable and that includes a locking portion, a backshell having a first end that couples to the second end of the housing and an opposite second end that surrounds the sleeve's cable termination section, and a locking member positioned between the sleeve's cable termination section and the second end of the backshell. The locking member has a locking element for cooperating with the sleeve's locking portion. The backshell is rotatable with respect to the housing in a tightening direction, and the locking element engages the locking portion of the inner sleeve such that rotation of the backshell in a loosening direction opposite the tightening direction is prevented.
