ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR FOR CHARGING
An electrical connector for charging has a connector base, a first conductive terminal, a second conductive terminal, and an insulation base. The first conductive terminal is mounted in the connector base and has an upper chamber and a lower chamber. The second conductive terminal is located in and coaxial with the first conductive terminal and is electrically isolated from the first conductive terminal. The insulation base is mounted between the first and the second conductive terminals. An end of the second conductive terminal is located in the upper chamber and another end protrudes out of a bottom of the insulation base. The insulation base has at least one first groove lower than an imaginary datum plan and at least one platform higher than the imaginary datum plane and coaxial with the first groove. By the first groove and the platform, the creepage distance is increased.
WIRING HARNESS AND PROTECTOR
A wiring harness is provided with a first wire member including a first terminal and a first wire and a protector for accommodating the first wire member. The protector includes a protector body, a bolt and a restricting portion. The protector body has a bottom wall extending in a length direction, two side walls projecting from both side edges of the bottom wall and facing each other, and an opening formed by the two side walls and facing the bottom wall. The bolt projects from the protector body and is inserted into a through hole of the terminal. The restricting portion covers only a part of the first wire member closer to a side opposite to a tip side of the first terminal than the through hole in the length direction, and restricts a movement of the first wire member in a projecting direction of the bolt.
Connector and connector with electric wires including the connector
A connector with electric wires includes a housing mounted to a vehicle body, two terminals housed in the housing, and two electric wires each connected to the terminal. The two electric wires are drawn out from openings of the housing with the two electric wires disposed in a longitudinal direction (arrow Y direction) and extended straight in a direction (arrow X direction) orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the terminal. Inside the housing, the two terminals and the two electric wires are arranged on the same plane.
Screw boss assembly
A screw boss assembly, including: a plastic substrate, including: a bottom surface including a first channel; an indented surface; a sidewall surface connecting the bottom surface and the indented surface, the sidewall surface including second channels, each of the second channels connected to the first channel; a metal insert, including: a first contacting member; second contacting member; connecting members connecting the first contacting member to the second contacting member; wherein the metal insert is coupled with the plastic substrate such that the first contacting member is positioned within the first channel and the connecting members are positioned within respective second channels.
PLUG CONNECTOR WITH SCREW CONNECTION
Plug-in connection, comprising a plug-in connector (1) and a mating plug-in connector that can be plugged together with the latter, wherein the plug-in connector (1) has a housing (2) into which an electrical conductor (3) is inserted, wherein the electrical conductor (3) is electrically contacted with a contact partner (4), likewise arranged in the housing (2), by means of their surfaces coming to rest on each other, wherein the contact partner (4) is contacted, in particular via its circumferential end face (5), with a contact partner of the mating plug-in connector in such a way that the end faces come to rest on each other, and the plug-in connector (1) and mating plug-in connector are plugged together, wherein this plugging-together is effected and supported by a tightening means, in particular a screw (6), wherein an insulation, in particular an insulating element (12) or a coating of the screw (6), is provided, wherein this insulation has the effect that the crew (6) does not touch voltage-carrying parts such as the electrical conductor (3) and/or the contact partner (4).
CONNECTOR
A connector including: (a) a terminal block; (b) an elongated busbar which is inserted in an insertion hole provided in the terminal block so as to be held by the terminal block in a cantilever manner; (c) a seal member which is disposed between the busbar and a wall surface of the insertion hole and which closes a gap defined between the busbar and the wall surface of the insertion hole; and (d) a protection member which is disposed in the gap defined between the busbar and the wall surface of the insertion hole and which is located between the seal member and an opening of the insertion hole.
GROUND CONNECTION DETECTION IN AN ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT
Embodiments presented in this disclosure generally relate to a ground device. More specifically, embodiments disclosed herein are directed to a grounding device for indicating whether there is proper grounding for electrical equipment. One embodiment presented in this disclosure provides an apparatus. The apparatus generally includes a lug configured to be coupled to a physical ground node, the lug having one or more bolts for coupling the lug to a surface of a plate such that the physical ground node is electrically coupled to an electrical ground node. The apparatus also includes a sensing circuit configured to detect whether the physical ground node is electrically coupled to the electrical ground node, and provide an indication of whether the physical ground node is electrically coupled to the electrical ground node based on the detection.
INSTALLATION STRUCTURE OF ELECTRIC WIRE INTO CONNNECTOR
In a structure in which a cable is installed into a connector is provided. A back retainer is arranged in a compressed state between an inner circumferential surface of a cylindrical portion, included in a connector body and extending in the axis line direction, and an outer circumferential surface of the cable. The back retainer includes a main annular portion which is configured such that a compression amount on the back retainer in the radial direction centered on the axis line direction gradually increases as the compression amount goes from one side toward the other side. The back retainer includes an engaging protrusion configured to prevent the back retainer from detaching from the cylindrical portion on an outer circumferential surface of the back retainer.
