An electrical connection device (200) connected between a main body and a draw-out device of an electrical appliance having a draw-out structure. The electrical connection device comprises: a draw-out device connection assembly (202) being fixed on the draw-out device and electrically connected to inlet and outlet ends of the draw-out device; a main body connection assembly (204) including contact pieces (241, 441, 541) with a clamping mechanism, wherein the clamping mechanism makes the contact pieces (241, 441, 541) close to and clamp main body busbars (208, 408, 508); and a flexible assembly (206) connecting the draw-out device connection assembly (202) and the main body connection assembly (204) to form a conductive path. The contact pieces (241, 441, 541) of the main body connection assembly (204) are offset by adapting to the position deviation of the main body busbars (208, 408, 508), so that the contact pieces (241, 441, 541) close to and clamp the main body busbars (208, 408, 508), and the flexible assembly (206) absorbs the offset of the contact pieces (241, 441, 541) by its own deformation, the offset is not transferred to the draw-out device connection assembly (202). It is further disclosed a linked electrical connection assembly formed by the described electrical connection devices (200) as well as an electrical appliance using the described electrical connection devices (200) or the electrical connection assembly.

Grounding clamp

Various embodiments include a lower jaw assembly and a grounding clamp. The grounding clamp includes a clamp body defining a first side and a second side opposite the first side. The grounding clamp also includes an upper jaw. The grounding clamp further includes a support arm slidably attached to the clamp body. The support arm includes a locking mechanism configured to removably engage the first side of the clamp body and a balance mechanism configured to removably engage the second side of the clamp body. The movement of the support arm is restricted upon the engagement of the locking mechanism and the balance mechanism. The grounding clamp also includes a moveable jaw slideably attached to clamp body and operably coupled to the support arm via a fastening mechanism.

An apparatus and methods of securing a C-Frame to a cable run during the installation process of a cable tap are disclosed. A holding device is removably coupled to an interface positioned adjacent to a C-Frame loosely coupled to a cable run. The holding device which is coupled to the interface is slid over and onto the C-Frame, thereby securing the C-Frame to the cable run. Thereafter, a cable tap is coupled to the C-Frame.

A captive shear bolt assembly includes a bolt and a shear coupling. The bolt may have a head, an extension, and a shank. The shear coupling may be configured to be received by the extension. The shear coupling may be configured to receive the extension via an orifice in the shear coupling. The shear coupling may be configured to shear when an upper head of the shear coupling is driven at a threshold torque. When the shear coupling has sheared, the extension may be configured to captively secure the upper head to the bolt. The captive shear bolt assembly may be used in a tap connector for electrically connecting a main conductor to a tap conductor.
