Clamping device and method for providing an electrical connection between a subsea pipeline and an electrical conductor
A clamping device (40) for providing an electrical connection between a subsea pipeline (1) and an electrical conductor (31). The device has a clamp element (41) comprising a first leg (41a) having a first leg end (41c) and a second leg (41b) having a second leg end (41d). The legs (41a, 41b) are configured to be provided on respective sides of the pipeline (1). The clamping device has a releasable tensioning device (48) connected to one of the legs (41a, 41b). The clamping device (40) has a first state, in which the ends (41c, 41d) of the first and second legs (41a, 41b) are provided at a first distance (d1) away from each other. The clamping device (40) has a second state, in which the tensioning device (48) is tensioned, causing the ends (41c, 41d) of the first and second legs (41a, 41b) to be at a second distance (d2) away from each other, the second distance (d2) being larger than the first distance (d1). The clamping device (40) has a template hole (42) provided in one of the legs (41a, 41b). The clamping device (40) comprises a connector member (44) provided in the template hole (42). The connector member (44) is mechanically connected to the clamp element (41). The clamping device (40) has a third state, in which the tensioning device (48) is released, causing the connector member (44) to be pressed towards the pipeline (1).
CONDUCTION STRUCTURE AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A first sheet metal is provided with slits. Elastic pieces having flat shapes are each formed between the slits adjacent to each other. and both ends of each of the elastic pieces are connected with both ends of an adjacent one of the elastic pieces. A second sheet metal is provided with protrusions each of which is protruded toward a corresponding one of the elastic pieces.
Elimination of floating potential when mounting wireless sensors to insulated conductors
A sensor package includes at least one conductive trace providing a voltage common and a base supporting the at least one conductive trace. A conductive extension extends from the base so as to contact a conductor of an insulated conductor when the sensor package is mounted on an insulator of the insulated conductor and thereby provide an electrical connection between the conductive trace providing the voltage common and the conductor.
CONTACTING DEVICE FOR CONTACTING A SHIELDING CONDUCTOR OF AN ELECTRICAL LINE WITH A GROUNDING SECTION
A contacting device for contacting a shielding conductor of an electrical line with a grounding portion includes: a housing which encloses a receptacle space into which the electrical line including the shielding conductor is insertable, the housing being attachable to the grounding portion such that the grounding portion extends in the receptacle space; and a spring element which is arranged on the housing so as to be pivotable about a pivot axis from an open position into a clamping position, in order, in the clamping position, to contact the shielding conductor of the electrical line inserted into the receptacle space with the grounding portion to which the housing is attached.
Leaf spring compression system design
A leaf spring compression system comprising a mechanical assembly for securing a plurality of leaf springs on a battery cell stack of a flow battery system is disclosed. The cell stack may, comprise: a plurality of cells stacked together to form a flow battery; and a compression system comprising at least two tie rods extending through the plurality of cells clamping a spring acting at opposite ends to compress the cells together, the spring contacting at least two fulcrum elements positioned between the tie rods. In this way, the compression system may exert uniform loading on the battery cell stack, while minimizing deflection of pressure plates attached to the cell stack.
SEMICONDUCTOR PACKAGE WITH ELASTIC COUPLER AND RELATED METHODS
Implementations of semiconductor packages may include: a die coupled to a substrate; a housing coupled to the substrate and at least partially enclosing the die within a cavity of the housing, and; a pin fixedly coupled to the housing and electrically coupled with the die, wherein the pin includes a reversibly elastically deformable lower portion configured to compress to prevent a lower end of the pin from lowering beyond a predetermined point relative to the substrate when the housing is lowered to be coupled to the substrate.
Electrical wire management device and method for managing electrical wire
An electrical wire management device includes a spring connector and an electrical wire assembly. The spring connector includes an insulating body and a plurality of spring terminals. The insulating body is arc-shaped, a side of the insulating body forms an opening, and the spring terminals are disposed on the insulating body. Each spring terminal has a contact portion and a pin portion. The contact portions of the spring terminals respectively extend into a plurality of wire grooves of the insulating body. The electrical wire assembly includes a plurality of electrical wires, and an end of each electrical wire has a connection portion. The connection portions of the electrical wires are respectively disposed into the wire grooves, the contact portions of the spring terminals respectively clamp the connection portions of the electrical wires, such that the electrical wires are electrically connected to the spring terminals.
Electrical connector
The present invention provides an electrical connector, comprising a shuttle member for receiving a stripped multi-core cable (such as a twin and earth conductor cable), the shuttle member including a core guide means and a resilient clip member for each of the stripped cores to be received. A body portion is configured to support at least one shuttle member in sliding engagement and includes an array of terminal connections, each connection having a shaped contact to receive a respective clip member of the shuttle member.
