A contact apparatus having at least one conductive, elastic, structured contact unit that may assume a first state and a second state and may be brought by supplying energy, such as pressure, from the first state into the second state, is provided for a particularly rapid and simple electrical contacting with a ground potential of cable shields of electrical cables with different diameters. The contact unit is configured so that, in the first state, the contract unit has a preparation for detachably inserting a plurality of electrical cables, and that, in the second state, the contract unit fixes the cables and establishes an electrical contact with the cable shields of the cables.

A connection terminal for connecting an electric conductor includes: a housing; a current bar arranged in the housing; a clamping spring arranged in the housing for clamping the conductor to be connected against the current bar; and an actuation element for transferring the clamping spring into a clamping position and into an open position. The actuation element has a rotation element mounted about a first axis of rotation and a lever element mounted about a second axis of rotation. The clamping spring is mounted on the rotation element and the clamping spring follows a rotational movement of the rotation element at least in regions. The rotation element engages with the lever element such that during a rotational movement of the lever element about the second axis of rotation, the rotation element rotates about the first axis of rotation arranged spaced apart from the second axis of rotation.

Provided is a grounding structure for an internal combustion engine, including a resinous body 2 configured to be attached to an engine body 7 and having a recessed portion 6 formed on a side thereof facing the engine body 7; a nut portion 13 integrally provided in the body 2, wherein the nut portion 13 includes a first end portion 13a opened into the recessed portion 6 and is made of a conductive material; and an oil pressure switch 5 configured to be attached to a second end portion 13b of the nut portion 13; and a conductive spring 16 arranged inside the recessed portion 6, wherein the conductive spring 16 is attached to the first end portion 13a of the nut portion 13 and is pressed against the engine body 7.

An electrical contact system includes a contact having a barrel with a wire entry portion having a first diameter, a clip portion having a second diameter, and a cam portion having a second diameter at a first end that tapers to a third diameter at a second end near the wire entry portion. The system also includes a clip positioned in the clip portion of the barrel, wherein ends of inwardly directed tines of the clip are configured to engage the conductor to enable the clip to be drawn onto the cam portion in response to a user pulling the wire after insertion of the conductor through the clip.
