CONTACT SYSTEM AND BATTERY SET COMPRISING IT
A contact system for electrically connecting a high current power supply system, in particular a battery unit, is provided. The contact system comprises a busbar, an electrode and a clamp. The clamp has at least two clamp legs, and at least one clamp leg is elastically moveable so as to vary an interspace between the clamp legs, the busbar, and the electrode. At least one of the clamp legs has a respective contact surface contacting a further one of the contact surfaces.
At least one of the clamp leg contact surface, the busbar contact surface, and the electrode contact surface has a protrusion. The protrusion contacts one of the respective other contact surfaces. The protrusion is convex in two mutually vertical sectional planes.
Electrical connector for a flat conductor
An object is to provide an electrical connector for a flat conductor that does not leave behind plastic deformation on a pressing arm part of a terminal pressing a flat conductor. A metal plate terminal, housing, and movable member are provided, where the terminal has a pressing arm part extending such that an insertion-and-removal direction of a flat conductor is in a longitudinal direction, and a supporting arm part extending in the longitudinal direction, which is connected with the pressing arm part by a connecting part. The pressing arm part has a pressing part for pressing one surface of the flat conductor on a rear end side which is an insertion side of the flat conductor, and a pressure receiving part receiving a force from a cam part on a position more forward than the pressing part.
Push wire connector having a spring biasing member
An electrical connector includes a housing and a conductive contact assembly disposed in the housing. A first contact member of the contact assembly receives a blade contact of an electrical device. A second contact member receives an electrical wire through a push-in connection. The electrical connector is receivable by an aperture in a rear surface of the electrical device.

An apparatus comprises a cable connector including: a first connector body portion including a first plurality of electrical contacts arranged to contact electrical contacts of a first surface of an edge connector substrate; a second connector body portion separate from the first connector body portion and including a second plurality of electrical contacts arranged to oppose the first plurality of electrical contacts of the first connector body portion and to contact electrical contacts of a second surface of the edge connector substrate, wherein the first and second plurality of electrical contacts are electrically coupled to one or more cables; and a joining mechanism configured to join the first connector body portion and the second connector body portion together and to apply a bias force to the edge connector substrate when the edge connector substrate is arranged between the first connector body portion and the second connector body portion.
Terminal block arrangement and blocking devices for such terminal blocks
A terminal block arrangement includes a housing and a plurality of connection terminals, each connection terminal including at least one terminal unit for contacting at least one conductor, which can be received on the connection terminal, and at least one associated actuation unit for actuating the terminal unit in order to selectively transfer the terminal unit between at least two positions. At least one of the positions is an open position and at least one of the positions is a contact position. The terminal block arrangement also includes a blocking device, wherein, in a blocking position, the blocking device is capable of preventing, jointly, the actuation of the actuation units of at least two of the plurality of connection terminals.
Connector device
A contact member provided inside a cylindrical contact holder of a female terminal has a diameter variable portion including a number of metal string members whose both ends are held by front side and rear side holding rings. When a slider is moved in a connector engaged state, a linear movement of a cam projection provided on the slider is converted into a rotational movement of a rotary ring by a cam groove 290, so that the front side holding ring fixed to the rotary ring is rotated to apply a twist to the diameter variable portion, whereby the metal string members are deformed into a hyperboloidal shape and the smallest inner diameter portion thereof is brought into pressure contact with a male terminal.
BATTERY TERMINAL AND DEVICE INCLUDING A BATTERY POLE AND A BATTERY TERMINAL
A battery terminal and device for connecting an electrical line to a battery pole of a battery are provided. The battery terminal has at least one line connector to connect the electrical line. At least one clamping sleeve is electrically connected to the line connector, which includes at least two clamping jaws separated from each other by a free space. At least one wedge-shaped spreading body and/or a pressing body formed with a V-shaped groove, the spreading body being adapted to move in a free space formed between the clamping jaws, due to the pivoting movement of an actuating lever. The clamping jaws being adapted to be spread apart hereby, and/or the clamping jaws being adapted to be encompassed by the pressing body from an outside and pressed together, due to the pivoting movement of the actuating lever.
Lead-through terminal and electrical component
A lead-through terminal for connecting a conductor so as to conduct electricity includes: a terminal housing having a bearing portion that abuts a wall of an electrical installation when in an installed state, the bearing portion defining on the terminal housing a first housing portion on a first side and a second housing portion on a second side of the bearing portion, a wall feedthrough being provided on the bearing portion; and a pivotable actuation device being provided on the terminal housing to clamp the conductor in a contact position on a current bar and to release the conductor when in an open position. The actuation device is located on the first side to a greater extent when in the contact position than when in the open position, in which the actuation device extends through the wall feedthrough onto the second side at least in part.
Quick connection battery terminal
A battery terminal for terminating to a terminal post of a battery. A lever is rotatably mounted to a lever engaging portion and includes an engagement member with a pair of mounting members extending therefrom. The mounting members are spaced apart by a first distance which is greater than a second distance which is the distance that the lever receiving members are spaced from each other. The mounting members are positioned to the outside of the lever receiving members. Camming members extend from the mounting members. The camming members have engaging portions which extend inward from the mounting members. The camming members and the engaging portions have an elastic spring behavior which allows the camming members and the engaging portions to be elastically deformed when the lever is rotated between an open position and a closed position.
Clamping element having two lever arms to clamp a conductor against a busbar
A connecting terminal includes a receiving body, a clamping element configured to clamp a conductor inserted into the connecting terminal against a busbar arranged in the connecting terminal, a first lever arm rotatably mounted on the clamping element, and a second lever arm rotatably mounted on the first lever arm. The second lever arm has an actuation region by way of which the second lever arm can be pivoted. The clamping element can be moved by the first lever arm into a clamping position and into a non-clamping position when the second lever arm is pivoted.
