Disclosed is the game apparatus using a train device constituted by cars of different sizes. The play ball lowered along the lane assembly may enter any one of the cars. Depending on the car into which the play ball enters, a predetermined reward may be provided to the player. The play ball entering the car deviates through the opening and rises through the elevating device. The raised play ball may be waited to descend again through the lane assembly.

An entertainment device typically described as a pinball machine, usually found in myriad places such as arcades, restaurants, private residences, etc. A conventional pinball machine allows one or more players to play a game in which points are accrued by physically striking one or more balls on an inclined play field within a cabinet having a transparent top surface. Interaction of the machine with the ball is typically limited to events when the ball strikes an object on the play field. To enable more machine-ball interaction and therefore increase entertainment value ball tracking is needed. A way to track the ball in a very fast manner to better enable open space interactivity while not having excessive cost and while not limiting the game designer.

The game processing portion calculates and displays a maximum monetary consumption amount per unit time by calculating using a maximum number of virtual game balls capable of being launched per unit time, a selected exchange rate and a base.

The present invention comprises an interactive touch control for a pinball machine to allow a user to interact with various settings of a pinball game. The invention further comprises an improved glass top assembly to permit lifting of the glass top via a hinge near the back box. The invention further comprises an improved mechanism for locking the glass top assembly to the cabinet and locking the playfield to the cabinet.

With the introduction of multi-level playfields all playfields being of a significant area within the gaming cabinet there is an as yet unrealised opportunity to develop scoring devices that each serve all or at least more than one playfield. These scoring devices can be specifically designed to only obstruct the view of and the playing on of a minimal proportion of playable area. That they serve more than one level also provides the chance to construct elaborate game rules involving scoring in sequence on various parts of the devices. The scoring device embodied here is specifically a new bumper device.

A light guide plate for presenting a stereoscopic image via parallax includes: a plurality of deflectors arranged in rows parallel to an incidence surface through which light from a light source enters the light guide plate, the light totally reflecting inside the light guide plate while being guided therethrough, the plurality of deflectors including a reflection surface for reflecting and causing an emission surface to emit said light; and the reflection surfaces in a row of the plurality of deflectors are all oriented in the same direction with the orientation of the reflection surfaces changing for each row in accordance with distance from the incidence surface.

A pinball machine includes a cabinet, an inclined playfield, and a ball operable across an upperside of the playfield to conduct a gameplay. A plurality of playfield accessories are mounted to the playfield and configured to interact with the ball during gameplay. A controller operates to control gameplay. The pinball machine includes a network connection operably coupling the controller to a network and a remote server. An access device is configured to identify a user and receive authorization from the controller and the remote server to allow the user to conduct a gameplay.

Support rails are provided for pinball machine playfields that provide mechanical support as well as light-emitting elements, such as LEDs, that generate additional light for illuminating the playfield and/or decorative features affixed to the rails. At least a portion of the support rail is preferably made of a transparent or translucent material to facilitate transmission of light from lighting elements below or enclosed by the rail. The support rails can be provided with various grooves, channels, and holes to facilitate mounting of the rails to a playfield or an existing support rail, using nuts and bolts, screws, brackets, and the like. The lighted support rails provide both mechanical stability to the playfield, as well as additional illumination and optional mounting locations for decorative features and/or game mechanisms. These functions of the support rail can be achieved without taking up room on the ‘active’ area of the playfield itself or obstructing visibility of the playfield and its components.

A flipper drain device of a pinball machine is provided, including a fixed rack and a drain and ball-striking assembly. The fixed rack is mounted in the pinball machine and includes guide rods. The drain and ball-striking assembly is mounted to the guide rods, such that the drain and ball-striking assembly is leftward/rightward movable but not rotatable on the guide rods. The drain and ball-striking assembly has a drain opening and a flipper provided at each of a left part and right part thereof. The drain and ball-striking assembly includes an operation table, which is provided with an operation member. The operation member controls the drain and ball-striking assembly to selectively move leftward/rightward. The operation table is provided with an operation button on each of a left part and a right part thereof for respectively controlling the flippers of the drain and ball-striking assembly to rotate.
