Storage device for shoelace
In one embodiment, a storage device encloses the laces of footwear. The storage device comprises a lower member, an upper member, and a joint that permits articulated motion between the lower member and the upper member in a first direction along the longitudinal axis of the storage device. The upper member comprises an enclosure with an inner cavity that receives the laces therein. In one example, the outer member comprises a pair of closure members that articulate in a second direction toward the longitudinal axis.
CORD LOCK
A cord lock includes various components used to slidably adjust a cord length, such as one or more housing components that releasably clamp around the cord. In one aspect, the cord lock includes an arrangement of magnets that bias the cord-lock housing components away from one another, in order to secure the cord between the housing components. The housing components can be pressed towards one another to slidably adjust the cord. In a further aspect, the cord lock may also include a magnetized excess-cord retainer that attaches to a portion of the cord and that releasably attaches to the cord lock in order to help gather excess cord pulled through the cord lock.
IMPROVED SHOE LACE ACCESSORY
The invention relates to an accessory for shoe laces including an accessory body, lid that can be closed together between a substantially open and substantially closed state with the body having a substantially flattened shape or low profile in the closed state. A holding portion, associated with the accessory body and or lid, acts on the shoe lace to substantially cover and hold in place. A replaceable cap may be secured to the lid is some forms of the invention. The invention also relates to a method of use and a method of replacement of the caps accordingly.
Combination Shoelace Knot Retainer and Charm Connector
The invention relates to soft/flexible connectors that are used with lace-up footwear to retain the original bow-style shape of a tied shoelace knot as an individual walks, runs, hikes, cycles, jumps, or performs any additional athletic or everyday movements. Furthermore, the invention's utility extends beyond the aforementioned function by providing wearers of lace-up footwear with a way to secure decorative/ornamental charms to their shoelaces as a form of accessory that may be removed and replaced to suit one's individual preferences. Noteworthy features include two functional holes extending through the invention's front and back faces, which allow free shoelace ends to be pulled through and tied in an additional knot beneath the original bow. This dual-hole design helps to secure the bow-style shape of a tied shoelace knot and prevent unintended untying during physical activity. Additionally, a third functional hole on the top face facilitates the optional insertion of decorative/ornamental charms.
LACING DEVICE
A lacing device, including a main body, a winding wheel, an upper cover, and a ratchet mechanism. The winding wheel is rotatably arranged in the main body; the upper cover and the winding wheel can be connected or separated; the upper cover includes a cover body and a side wall arranged around the circumference of the cover body; there is a first meshing surface on an inner side surface of the side wall; two or more slide channels are formed in an upper end surface of the main body; the ratchet mechanism includes two or more sliding blocks sliding along the slide channels and an elastic member used for pushing the sliding blocks to slide towards the outside of the main body; and each sliding block is provided with a first ratchet tooth fitted with the first meshing surface to achieve engagement.
Apparatus, system, and method for locking laces
An apparatus, system, and method for locking laces are provided. The system includes a lace lock and a shoelace. The shoelace has toggles at respective first and second ends of the shoelace, which toggles are moveable from a first position to a second position. The lace lock has a unitary body that engages the toggles of the shoelaces in the second position to secure both ends of the shoelace in the unitary body in a fixed position between the opposing toggles without any portion of the shoelace hanging out of the unitary body.
