To provide a stack-type wire mount wafer connector and a connector assembly that can reduce the number of components and the size, and can enhance operability of insertion and removal.

A latch portion 25 that is integrally formed with a wafer 40 and extends along a second side surface 46a of the wafer 40, at least one protrusion 47b extending outward along a Z-axis direction of the wafer 40 from a first base portion 47 of the wafer, and at least one opening portion into which the protrusion 47b of another stack-type wire mount wafer connector 20 is to be inserted are included. When the protrusion 47b of another stack-type wire mount wafer connector 20 is inserted into the opening portion of the stack-type wire mount wafer connector 20, shifting between the stack-type wire mount wafer connector 20 and another stack-type wire mount wafer connector 20 in a fitting direction (X-axis direction) of a fitting connector is prevented.

Modular electrical wiring system and methods therefor
10700469 · 2020-06-30 ·

A modular electrical wiring system, methods and components thereof, for connecting electrical devices to structural wiring. The system may include a base modular unit having a first electrical connection feature and one or more dependent modular units each having an electrical device, a first electrical connection feature and second electrical connection feature electrically and mechanically interconnectable with a first electrical connection feature of another modular unit. The modular units are may be assembled sequentially along a first axis by being rapidly interconnectable with adjacent modular units by relative movement therebetween in a direction perpendicular to the first axis. When modular units are connected in a mechanical series, electrical devices in the modular units may be functionally electrically in series or parallel, depending on the internal wiring of the upstream modular unit. Modular devices may have a switch to provide a choice between a series or parallel connection.

Sheath-bonding link box

A sheath-bonding link box is provided, the sheath-bonding link box including a housing defining a sealed interior space, and a set of electrically conductive connectors extending through the housing between an exterior of the enclosure and the interior space. The set of connectors each has an internal portion positioned inside of the interior space and an external portion positioned outside of the housing. The internal portion of the connectors is electrically connectable to a functional link in the interior space, and the external portion of the connectors is dimensioned to be electrically connectable to a sheath-bonding lead.

A connector is to be joined to a mating connector. The connector includes a terminal fitting including an electrical connection portion to be connected to a mating terminal of the mating connector, a housing including an insertion hole, the electrical connection portion inserted through the insertion hole and a rear holder attached to the housing such that the rear holder presses and holds the terminal fitting against the housing. The housing includes a reference surface to restrict the electrical connection portion, with a portion of the terminal fitting abutting the reference surface, from being further inserted into the insertion hole. The rear holder includes a pressing pin to press, when the rear holder is attached to the housing, the terminal fitting from a rear side of the terminal fitting such that the pressing pin is partially and plastically deformed and the terminal fitting is pressed against the reference surface.

Terminal block

A terminal block includes a housing having an accommodation portion and a through hole, a terminal portion disposed in the accommodation portion, and a plate spring portion that is disposed in the accommodation portion and, together with the terminal portion, holds a wiring member inserted into the accommodation portion through the through hole. A first side wall portion and a second side wall portion are formed in the accommodation portion of the housing, the first side wall portion and the second side wall portion facing each other in a direction that intersects with a direction in which the plate spring portion and the terminal portion hold the wiring member. A movement, in the intersecting direction, of a portion of the wiring member that is inserted into the accommodation portion is curbed by disposing the portion of the wiring member that is inserted into the accommodation portion between the first side wall portion and the second side wall portion. It is possible to obtain a terminal block capable of inhibiting the wiring member held between the plate spring portion and the terminal portion from coming off.
