Terminal block marker
A terminal block marker designed to identify a terminal block. The terminal block marker includes a rigid base and a flexible film insert. The rigid base includes a top with a first arm having a first inwardly extending projection and a second arm having a second inwardly extending projection. The rigid base also includes a bottom with legs extending in a direction opposite the arms to hold the terminal block marker in the terminal block. A flexible film insert with identification markings is installed on the rigid base. The flexible film insert is positioned under a first projection of the first arm and rotated downward until the flexible film insert snaps under the second projection of the second arm. The first and second projections retain the flexible film insert on the rigid base to form the terminal block marker.
ELECTRODE CABLE SYSTEM FOR NEUROLOGICAL MONITORING AND IMAGING
A cable management system is used in neurological monitoring and imaging procedures, particularly MRI. The system enables quickly disconnecting and quickly and accurately reconnecting the patient to the neurological monitoring equipment. The cable management system uses plural color-coded, two-part, cable pairs that include an electrode cable and an extension cable in each pair. The electrode and the short electrode cable remain attached to the patent during monitoring while the extension cable is disconnected and removed. A plug and socket combination that connects in a preselected orientation that enables the two parts to be quickly and accurately disconnected and reconnected. Metal is minimized in the electrode and electrode conductor in part by its short length, it thinness, the use of metal coating on plastic electrodes, and the use of alternative conductive materials.
Assembly for marking at least one connection of a computer system, connection module and labelling element
The invention relates to an assembly for marking at least one connection of a computer system. The assembly comprises a housing with an outer wall, in which a recess is formed. Furthermore, at least one connection is provided, which is accessible from outside the housing via the recess of the housing. The assembly is characterized in that a labelling element can be secured within the housing such that at least one section of the labelling element which can be provided with a marking and which is assigned to the at least one connection projects outwards from the housing through the recess. Furthermore, the invention relates to a connection module and to a labelling element.
Terminal for detecting an optically invisible network, installation comprising such a detection terminal, and method for detecting an optically invisible network
This detection terminal (2) includes a fixing portion (4) intended to be fixed in a structure, an electrically conductive protective portion (5) secured to the fixing portion (4) and arranged to protect the fixing portion (4), the protective portion (5) being arranged to be accessible from the outside of the structure so as to allow the injection of an electric signal, and connection means intended to connect propagation means capable of propagating an electric signal along the optically invisible network, the connection means being connected to the protective portion (5) so as to hold, when in use, an electrical continuity between the protective portion (5) and the propagation means.
SET COMPRISING A CONDUCTOR CONNECTION TERMINAL AND AN ACCESSORY ELEMENT
A set comprising a conductor connection terminal and an accessory element for fastening to the conductor connection terminal. The conductor connection terminal has a conductor connection for connecting an electrical conductor and has a conductor insertion channel for inserting and guiding the electrical conductor to the conductor connection. The conductor connection terminal has, in addition to the conductor insertion channel, an accessory insertion channel, in which the accessory element can be selectively fastened with a fastening section of the accessory element.
METHOD FOR ATTACHING A LABEL CARRIER TO AN INSULATING SHEATH OF AN ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE WIRE
Disclosed is a method for attaching a label carrier to an insulating sheath of an electrically conductive wire. According to the method a fastener tab having two wings made of resiliently expandable material is formed on the label holder, and a wire is introduced axially into a channel formed by the wings and is then held by friction between the wings.
ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE
An electrical appliance comprising an electrical plug including a plug body and a removable plug terminal, wherein the plug terminal comprises an ID component configured to provide an ID data item. The appliance comprises a control system comprising an ID reader configured to read the ID component, wherein the control system is operable to configure at least one operational attribute of at least one electrical device of the electrical appliance in dependence on the ID data item. Beneficially, the electrical appliance of the invention is responsive to different plug terminals that may be attached to it and is able to configure various settings in accordance with the data item it reads from the plug terminal which ensures that the electrical appliance can adapt to various power schemes and regulations that may in place around the world, particularly if the ID data item is indicative of the country-suitability of the plug terminal.
Cable management assembly
A cable assembly for organizing and managing multiple electrical cables connected to rack-mounted electronics equipment includes a pair of individually movable cable carriers, each comprising a pair of slider arms slideably disposed in corresponding slider arm guide channels connected to the vertical rails of an equipment rack, a crossbar connected between the slider arms, and a plurality of cable clips carried on the crossbar. The cable clips each comprise a plurality of parallel slots for securely capturing and holding cables in parallel order aligned with corresponding I/O ports on the electronics equipment. The slider arm guides have a plurality of detents and the slider arms have a releasable latch that cooperates with the detents to enable the cable carrier to be moved vertically for easy access to the electronics for maintenance.
