ELECTRICAL APPARATUS HAVING A PUSH-IN CONNECTION TERMINALWITH A SUPPORT CLIP GUIDING AND LIMITING THE ELASTIC DEFORMATION OF THE CONTACT SPRING
An electrical apparatus such as an electrical contactor or a terminal block, comprises a casing made of an electrically insulating material, a conductive bar mounted in the casing and at least one push-in type connection terminal. The terminal comprises a contact spring having an elastic portion undergoing an elastic deformation under the action of an external force applied on the contact spring either by an electrical conductor during its insertion at a first aperture of the casing so as to place the electrical conductor in a contact position located between the contact spring and the conductive bar in order to establish an electrical connection between the electrical conductor and the conductive bar, or by a tool inserted into a second aperture of the casing so as to open the contact spring and release the electrical conductor in order to remove it out of its contact position. The electrical apparatus comprises a support clip independent of the casing and of the conductive bar. The clip comprises fastening elements allowing mounting of the support clip on the contact spring and delimits a bearing face against which the contact spring bears during the deformation of its elastic portion under the action of the external force in order to impose the manner in which the elastic portion spatially deforms and against which the contact spring abuts in its maximum deformation state in order to limit the elastic deformation of the elastic portion of the contact spring below a predetermined value regardless of the intensity of the external force.
ADAPTER HOUSING FOR A CONTACT INSERT FOR FIXING ON A TOP-HAT RAIL
An adapter housing is provided for receiving a contact carrier, wherein the adapter housing has on its outer wall two connecting structures or means, molded on opposite one another and complementing one another, for reversibly connecting to an adapter housing of the same type and/or to a top-hat rail fixing element and wherein the adapter housing has on the inserting side at least one locking device or means for reversibly locking the adapter housing to a further adapter housing. A system comprising of a first adapter housing, with a first contact carrier received therein, a second adapter housing, with a second contact carrier received therein, and a top-hat rail is also provided.
Quick connect electrical connector system
An electrical connector system includes a connector with a plug. A shroud extends over a portion of the plug and is coupled with the plug. A conductive socket is configured for receiving the plug of the connector. The socket includes a groove formed on an outer surface thereof. The shroud includes spring fingers having a lock portion thereon configured for engaging the groove for securing the connector in the socket. A collar is slidably mounted on the conductive socket and is configured for sliding between a locked position proximate to the socket groove and an unlocked position. The collar is further configured for engaging the spring fingers of the connector shroud in the locked position to hold the finger lock portions engaged with the groove to lock the connector in the socket.
Receiving element, arrangement and method
A receiving element for receiving and transporting a component includes: a main body. A recess in the form of an indentation into which the component is insertable is formed in the main body. In an embodiment, the recess has a shape which is adapted to a contour of the component.
BASE ELEMENT FOR AN AT LEAST TWO-PART OVERVOLTAGE PROTECTOR AND CORRESPONDING OVERVOLTAGE PROTECTOR
A base element for an at least two-part overvoltage protective arrangement, has a support rail receptacle for receiving a support rail carrying an electrical potential, a first receptacle for receiving a first electrical conductor, a second receptacle for receiving a second electrical conductor, and a protective element receptacle for receiving an overvoltage protective element. An electrical connecting element for transmitting an electrical signal from the first receptacle to the second receptacle is produced between the first second receptacles. An electrical support rail contact element makes electrical contact with the support rail when the support rail is received by the support rail receptacle. The first and second receptacles receive electrical connector parts or adapter connector parts for electrical connector parts. An overvoltage protective arrangement with such a base element. The base element and overvoltage protective arrangement make possible simple installation in existing control and signaling systems with minimal intervention.
Plug-in connection arrangement for an electrical terminal block
A plug-in connection arrangement for arranging a relay includes a terminal block comprising a relay holder configured to hold a relay. The relay has a bottom wall, a side wall, and a contact plug which projects out of the bottom wall. The side wall is arranged perpendicular to the bottom wall and includes an offset section which contacts the bottom wall and projects out into the relay in a direction of a surface normal of the side wall. The relay holder includes a socket configured to hold the contact plug of the relay when the relay is inserted into the relay holder. The relay holder also includes an insulating wall which, when the relay is inserted into the relay holder, is aligned parallel to the side wall and projects beyond the bottom wall to form an angled insulation section for the contact plug along a surface of the insulating wall.
Rail attachment apparatus for electrical device
There is provided a rail attachment apparatus for an electrical device in which a biasing elastic function is imparted to a slider itself, whereby the slider can be adjusted to be thin and the number of components can be decreased. The rail attachment apparatus includes a nipping portion that nips one side edge of an attaching rail fixed to an attaching surface of the electrical device, and a slider that is opposed to the nipping portion and slidably held at the other side edge of the attaching rail in a direction intersecting with this attaching rail. The slider is provided with integrally formed bending elastic portions which bias the slider in a direction to enable nipping the attaching rail.
