A rechargeable battery jump starting device having detachable positive and negative cables. The rechargeable battery jump starting device, including a rechargeable battery connected to a positive cam-lock cable connecting device and a negative cam-lock cable connecting device. The rechargeable battery jump starting device can include a highly electrically conductive frame connecting the rechargeable battery to the cam-lock cable devices.

An auto safety jumper module to prevent accidental short circuits or wrong connections between a jump start system and a motor vehicle battery when jump starting such motor vehicle. The module can be fully automatic and capable of detecting when a motor vehicle battery is connected to it. The module, which can be integrated into or an external add-on to a jump start system, does not need an external sensing wire(s) to detect when alligator clamps of the jump start system are connected to a vehicle battery post or to detect when the alligator clamps are disconnected.

The present disclosure provides a portable standby starting device for a vehicle. The portable standby starting device includes a battery circuit, a load access detecting circuit, and a vehicle starting circuit, wherein the battery circuit is coupled to the load access detecting circuit and the vehicle starting circuit, and is configured to supply power to the load access detecting circuit and the vehicle starting circuit; the load access detecting circuit is coupled to the vehicle starting circuit, and is configured to detect whether the vehicle starting circuit is connected to a vehicle load; the vehicle starting circuit is configured to, when the load access detecting circuit detects the connection of the vehicle load, output a vehicle starting current for controlling an ignition operation performed for the vehicle.

The present disclosure provides a portable standby starting device for a vehicle. The portable standby starting device includes a battery circuit, a load access detecting circuit, and a vehicle starting circuit, wherein the battery circuit is coupled to the load access detecting circuit and the vehicle starting circuit, and is configured to supply power to the load access detecting circuit and the vehicle starting circuit; the load access detecting circuit is coupled to the vehicle starting circuit, and is configured to detect whether the vehicle starting circuit is connected to a vehicle load; the vehicle starting circuit is configured to, when the load access detecting circuit detects the connection of the vehicle load, output a vehicle starting current for controlling an ignition operation performed for the vehicle.
Electrosurgical instrument with modular component contact monitoring
An apparatus includes a shaft assembly, an end effector, a control module, a first electrical connector, and a plurality of nonconductive structures. The first electrical connector is operatively coupled with the control module and includes a first plurality of electrical contacts. At least one electrical contact of the first plurality of electrical contacts is configured to transfer a power output from the control module to a second plurality of electrical contacts of a second electrical connector while the first and second electrical connectors are coupled. The nonconductive structures are disposed adjacent each of the plurality of first electrical contacts. The nonconductive structures are configured to prevent a signal interference between each electrical contact of the first plurality of electrical contacts.
Grounding device
The present invention relates to a grounding device. In particular, the present invention relates to ground device, or an earth receptacle, that may be installed or fixed into a structure (e.g. placed in the ground) to provide an avenue of safe discharge for electrical current when the device is connected to a piece of equipment of vehicle. In an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a grounding device comprising: (a) a first casing having an open top; (b) a pin extending from the base of and within the first casing, the pin made from an electrically conductive material and has a longitudinal length with opposite first and second ends, the second end of the pin in contact with or integral with base of the casing; (c) a plate member having an opening to allow the plate to move along the longitudinal length of the pin between a first position and a second position, the plate member and the frame form a cavity within the first casing; and (d) a biasing member disposed within the cavity and attached to the plate member for biasing the plate member in the first position, wherein the first position conceals the longitudinal length of the pin within the cavity and the second position is any position that exposes a portion of the longitudinal length of the pin.
LIGHTED CONNECTOR FOR A BATTERY CABLE
The disclosure relates to a lighted connector configured to be attached to a rechargeable battery to allow the rechargeable battery to charged and/or discharged. The lighted connector includes a light that is operably connected to a control unit and/or processing component. The control unit and/or processing component may be programmed to control operation of the light in accordance with various parameters. In some embodiments, the light may be configured to be illuminated in response to an illumination triggering event, such as the lighted connector transitioning from a closed position toward an open position or a battery maintenance device associated with the lighted connector being connected to a power source. In addition, the lighted connector may be configured to be turned off in response to a shut-off triggering event, such as the lighted connector being correctly attached to a rechargeable battery. Furthermore, the light may be used in various ways to provide feedback to the user.
