Housing and Connector for a Flat Flexible Cable
A connector includes a housing and a flat flexible cable disposed in the housing. The housing has a base and a cover movable with respect to the base between an open position and a closed position. The cover has a body and a protrusion protruding from the body. The flat flexible cable has an insulation material and a plurality of flat flexible conductors embedded in the insulation material. The flat flexible cable has an opening extending through the insulation material. The protrusion extends through the opening and abuts the base in the closed position of the cover.
Vacuum pump
The present disclosure provides a vacuum pump with which size and weight reduction, improvement of workability, and cost reduction can be realized. Electrical connection between a pump main body that has a rotor supported by a magnetic bearing and a control unit that controls the drive of the pump main body is established by a flexible printed wiring board configured by printing an electric circuit on a surface of a sheet-like insulating substrate.
Sidewall Connections and Button Interconnects for Molded SiPs
Electronic modules and methods of fabrication are described. In an embodiment, an electronic module includes a molded system-in-package, and a flexible circuit mounted on a side surface of a molding compound layer such that the flexible circuit is in electrical contact with a lateral interconnect exposed along the side surface of the molding compound layer.
Method for producing a catheter comprising a FPCB
A method for producing a catheter includes inserting a temporary mandrel into a catheter tube, followed by preshaping a FPCB in a round hollow cylindrical shape and position it on the catheter tube. Then a shrink tube is positioned around the FPCB on the outside of the catheter tube. The assembly is preheated to the point that the shrink tube has fully contracted and directly contacts and closes the FPCB around the catheter tube. Then the assembly is heated above the melting temperature of the catheter tube to reflow the catheter tube material around the FPCB inside the shrinking tube. After a resting period to allow solidification of the assembly material the mandrel is removed from the inner lumen of the re-solidified catheter tube, and finally the shrink tube is removed.
Connector for a flat flexible cable
A connector for a flat flexible cable or flat printed cable includes a housing portion and a plurality of terminals. The housing portion includes a plurality of terminal receiving passageways each receiving a contact portion of one of the plurality of terminals. A plurality of conductors exposed in a window extending through an insulation material of the flat flexible cable are each clamped in a terminating portion of one of the plurality of terminals by a clamping force applied thereon by a cover selectively fixable with respect to the housing portion.
CONNECTING METHOD AND CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
In a connecting method, when a flexible conductor is exposed on a top surface of a connection object, a contact is disposed on the top surface of the connection object at the predetermined position in a state where the connection object is kept as it is, and when the flexible conductor is exposed on a bottom surface of the connection object, the contact is disposed on the top surface of the connection object at the predetermined position in a state where a part of the connection object where the connection part is disposed is inverted such that the connection part faces a top surface side of the connection object while being retained at the predetermined position.
THIN TYPE LOCK AND UNLOCK CONNECTOR
A thin type lock and unlock connector include a first shell, a second shell and an first insulator, which are buckled and combined with each other by the respective provided first fixing members to form a connector that can be connected to a flexible printed circuit board. The second shell provides a first locking member and a first elastic member to lock the flexible printed circuit board to the connector. When an external force is applied to the first pressing part of the first shell, it acts on the locking member to unlock the flexible printed circuit board that the flexible printed circuit board can be detached from the connector. The first insulator provides an action portion with a slope to be arranged corresponding to the first locking member, to determine the deformation stroke of the first locking member.
Electrical feedthrough and medical device
An electrical feedthrough (1) is provided for improving the thermal properties and the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and also for simplified production of a medical instrument (7), in which electrical feedthrough individual contact pins (4), which are guided through a glass body (2) in a housing (20) of the instrument (7), are electrically connected to one another by a pluggable plug element (5), preferably in the form of a sheet metal part. Here, the plug element (5) firstly provides high thermal and electrical conductivity and secondly provides a shielding area that effectively prevents the input coupling of electromagnetic radiation. Preferably, the plug element (5) is formed in such a way that it independently develops a holding force for securing itself to the contact pins (4).
TERMINAL-EQUIPPED FLEXIBLE CIRCUIT BOARD AND CONNECTOR-EQUIPPED FLEXIBLE CIRCUIT BOARD
Provided is a terminal-equipped flexible circuit board provided with a flexible circuit board that is flexible and a plurality of terminals. The flexible circuit board extends in a longitudinal direction, the flexible circuit board includes a plurality of conductive paths, the plurality of terminals each include a conductive path connection portion that is connected to a conductive path and a terminal connection portion that extends in an extending direction from the conductive path connection portion and is connected to a partner terminal, the plurality of terminals are arranged on the flexible circuit board in a state in which the longitudinal direction of the flexible circuit board intersects the extending direction of the plurality of terminals, and the plurality of terminals are arranged in a plurality of levels in a state in which the flexible circuit board is folded.
CONNECTOR
A connector includes a contact connected to a flexible conductor, a housing that is attached to a flexible substrate and retains the contact, and a protection sheet that is constituted of an insulating film having a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer formed on one surface thereof and is disposed between the housing and the flexible substrate such that the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer faces the flexible substrate, the protection sheet being disposed so as to cover at least a front surface part of the flexible substrate on which the flexible conductor is formed, and is adhered to the flexible substrate with the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, the housing having a flat surface facing the flexible substrate, an adhesive layer bonding the housing to the protection sheet being disposed between the flat surface and the protection sheet.
