A connector for receiving a ribbon cable is provided. The connector includes a housing including an open top, a cable organizer, and a cover. The cable organizer is configured to be positioned within an interior of the housing and configured to receive the ribbon cable upon an upper surface thereof. The cover is configured to selectively cover the open top of the housing to enclose the cable organizer within the interior of the housing. The cover is coupled to the housing and includes a latch configured to engage the housing and the cable organizer and move in a both vertical direction relative to the housing and rotate relative to the housing.

Connecting method, connecting structure, contact and connector

A first connection portion is formed at an end portion of a flexible conductor by folding the end portion of the flexible conductor in halves along a folding line extending in a given direction, and a contact-side connection portion of a contact presses the first connection portion from opposite sides in a thickness direction of the first connection portion to thereby electrically connect the contact to the flexible conductor.

FLEXIBLE CIRCUIT MOTHER BOARD AND DETECTION METHOD THEREOF

Provided are a flexible circuit mother board and a detection method. The flexible circuit mother board includes flexible circuit daughter boards, at least one detection terminal group and external pad groups corresponding to the flexible circuit daughter boards in one-to-one correspondence. Each flexible circuit daughter board has a bonding pad area adjacent to a corresponding one of the plurality of external pad groups. Each detection terminal group detects at least one flexible circuit daughter board, and each of the at least one detection terminal group comprises a plurality of detection terminals. Each flexible circuit daughter board includes a plurality of capacitors including a first electrode plate and a second electrode plate. Each of the first electrode plate and the second electrode plate is electrically connected to one detection terminal.

CONNECTOR FOR A FLAT FLEXIBLE CABLE

A connector for a flat flexible cable includes a housing and a spring clip disposed in the housing. The housing has a main body and a cover. The cover is movable with respect to the main body between an open position and a closed position. The spring clip is resiliently deflectable by the cover. The spring clip is in a first state with the cover in the open position in which the spring clip abuts a conductor exposed through an insulation material of the flat flexible cable with a first contact force. The spring clip is in a second state with the cover in the closed position in which the spring clip abuts the conductor with a second contact force greater than the first contact force.

Connector For A Flat Flexible Cable

A connector for a flat flexible cable or flat printed cable includes a housing portion and a plurality of terminals. The housing portion includes a plurality of terminal receiving passageways each receiving a contact portion of one of the plurality of terminals. A plurality of conductors exposed in a window extending through an insulation material of the flat flexible cable are each clamped in a terminating portion of one of the plurality of terminals by a clamping force applied thereon by a cover selectively fixable with respect to the housing portion.

Midboard cable terminology assembly

A cable termination assembly configured for mounting to an interior portion of a printed circuit board. The cable termination assembly has a frame shaped to receive a paddle card to which a plurality of cables are terminated. A lid, when closed, may force the paddle card into contact with an interposer, which in turn may be pressed into a printed circuit board on which the cable termination assembly is mounted. Electrical signals may pass between the cables and traces in the printed circuit board via the paddle card and interposer. The termination assembly may be mounted near a processor or other high speed component on the printed circuit board, enabling high speed signals to be coupled with low loss between a periphery of the printed circuit board, or even a location off the printed circuit board, and the high speed component.

Connector to be connected to a flexible conductor

A connector includes a first insulator, a second insulator and a contact connected to the flexible conductor, the flexible conductor having an internal conductive portion and an external conductive portion, a sheet-like member being sandwiched between the circumferential edges of the first insulator and the second insulator while overlapping the flexible conductor to attach the connector to the sheet-like member, the first insulator positioned on a side of the flexible conductor in a position where the sheet-like member and the flexible conductor overlap each other having a cutout formed to correspond to the flexible conductor, a part of the external conductive portion adjacent to the internal conductive portion of the flexible conductor entering the cutout when the sheet-like member is bent at an edge of the first insulator together with the flexible conductor.

A lock structure of a connector assembly includes a socket connector and a plug connector. The socket connector includes a mounting base member and conductive terminals disposed in the mounting base member, and the mounting base member is combined with an outer metal shell. A base of the plug connector includes a plug part combined in the docking chamber, and a connection part, and contact terminals. The base is combined with a shielding housing, and a handle is pivoted to shaft holes of the shielding housing. When the plug connector is not locked on the socket connector, the handle is pushed apart from each other, by the shielding housing, and not clasped on the outer metal shell. After the plug connector is combined on the socket connector, the handle can be rotated to return the handle to original locations, and make the handle clasp on the outer metal shell.
