CONNECTOR
A connector includes: a tubular, conductive plug contact having a recessed portion extending along a fitting axis; and an inner contact constituted of a projection that is inserted in the recessed portion and has an outer peripheral surface covered with a conductive layer, the inner contact having a contacting portion contacting the plug contact within the recessed portion and a pressing portion situated in a rotational position different from the contacting portion about the fitting axis, a part of a sheet type connection object having a flexible conductor exposed on at least one surface of the connection object being sandwiched between the pressing portion and an inner surface of the recessed portion in a direction perpendicular to the fitting axis.
Electrical Connection Assembly and Electrical Connection Device
An electrical connection assembly includes a first insulator, a first adapter circuit board defining a first hole, a first connection terminal fixed to the first insulator, and a flexible connection member. The first connection terminal includes a first press fitting part pressed into the first hole of the first adapter circuit board and electrically connected to the first adapter circuit board, and a second press fitting part protruding from the first insulator and adapted to be pressed into a second hole of a first circuit board to be electrically connected to the first circuit board. The flexible connection member includes a connection conductor electrically connected to the first adapter circuit board.
CONNECTOR
The connector includes an inner contact formed of a plate member inserted into a recess of a plug contact, the plate member having a first constituent portion including an elastically displaceable contact portion and a second constituent portion including a pressing portion that is elastically displaceable independently of elastic displacement of the contact portion, part of a sheet-like connection target in which a flexible conductor is exposed on at least one surface being sandwiched between the pressing portion and an inner surface of the recess in a direction orthogonal to the fitting axis, the inner surface of the recess coming into contact with a front surface of the connection target while the pressing portion coming into contact with a back surface of the connection target.
CONNECTOR AND CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
A connector includes a cylindrical, elastically deformable insertion portion that is inserted into a recess of a plug contact, the insertion portion having a contact portion placed on an outer peripheral surface of the insertion portion and a pressing portion placed on the outer peripheral surface of the insertion portion and on an opposite side to the contact portion across the fitting axis, part of a sheet-like connection target having a flexible conductor exposed on at least one surface being sandwiched between the pressing portion and an inner surface of the recess in a direction orthogonal to the fitting axis, the inner surface of the recess contacting a front surface of the connection target, and the pressing portion contacting a back surface of the connection target.

SHEET-LIKE CONDUCTIVE PATH
It is aimed to enable a plurality of terminal fittings to be fixed to a sheet-like flexible conductive member while being positioned. A sheet-like conductive path is provided with a plurality of first terminal fittings (20), a plurality of second terminal fittings (30), a sheet-like flexible conductive member (11) to be fixed to the plurality of first terminal fittings (20) and the plurality of second terminal fittings (30), a positioning portion (41) for positioning the plurality of first terminal fittings (20) and the plurality of second terminal fittings (30) in a state where the plurality of first terminal fittings (20) and the plurality of second terminal fittings (30) are not fixed to the sheet-like flexible conductive member (11), and a housing (50) for accommodating the plurality of first terminal fittings (20) and the plurality of second terminal fittings (30) fixed to the sheet-like flexible conductive member (11).
Sealed connector for flat flexible cables
A connector comprises a housing defining a receptacle sized to receive a flat flexible cable. A conductive terminal is arranged within the receptacle and adapted to contact an exposed conductor of the flat flexible cable received within the receptacle. A seal is positioned in contact with a front end of the housing and defines a cable receiving slot therethrough aligned with the receptacle. A cover is arranged over the seal and includes a slotted opening aligned with the cable receiving slot of the seal and the receptacle. The cover selectively fixed to the front end of the housing.
CONNECTOR
A connector includes an inner contact inserted in a recessed portion of a plug contact and composed of a bent wire spring, the inner contact having an elastically displaceable contact portion contacting the plug contact and an elastically displaceable pressing portion, part of a connection object having a flexible conductor exposed on at least one surface thereof being sandwiched between the pressing portion and an inner surface of the recessed portion, the inner surface of the recessed portion and the pressing portion contacting a front surface and a rear surface of the connection object, respectively, the plug contact being electrically connected to the flexible conductor directly when the flexible conductor is exposed on the front surface of the connection object, the plug contact being electrically connected to the flexible conductor via the inner contact when the flexible conductor is exposed on the rear surface of the connection object.
Electrical connector for circuit boards and method of manufacture thereof
Electrical connector for circuit boards provided with terminals having connecting portions configured to be connected to a circuit board at one end in the longitudinal direction of said terminals and contact portions configured to be placed in contact with a counterpart connector component at the other end, and a housing holding a plurality of said terminals in place in array form. Said housing having disposed therein the contact portions of the terminals, and formed such that it is divided into a receiving-side housing, which accommodates the contact portions and receives a counterpart connector component such that it is placed in contact with the contact portions, and a board-side housing, which holds the terminals in place in sections more proximal to the connecting portions than to the contact portions and which is mounted to a circuit board, and the receiving-side housing and the board-side housing are molded as a single unit.
