A conductive terminal for a flat flexible cable comprises a first contact surface, and a second contact surface opposing the first contact surface. The first and second contact surfaces define a space therebetween for receiving a flat flexible cable along a longitudinal direction of the terminal. A dimpled structure is defined on the first contact surface and includes a plurality of dimples extending from the first contact surface in a direction of the second contact surface. The dimpled structure includes at least one dimple having a first height, and at least one dimple having a second height, distinct from the first height.

A connector structure according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a second connector and a first connector coupled to the second connector. The first connector includes a first insulator, a first conductive connection terminal disposed on the first insulator, a second conductive connection terminal spaced apart from the first conductive connection terminal to form a single row structure on the first insulator together with the first conductive connection terminal, and a first barrier structure disposed between the first conductive connection terminal and the second conductive connection terminal on the first insulator.

An electric connector includes an insulative seat, a circuit board, a flat cable, a latch and an actuating slider. The insulative seat includes a main body and a cover. An action room and a sliding trough are formed between the cover and the main body. The circuit board is received in the main body. The circuit board is extended with a tongue having printed terminals. An end of the flat cable is embedded in the main body and electrically connected to the printed terminals. The latch is received in the action room. The latch has a root with an insert and an extremity with a hook, respectively. The latch has an actuating portion with an elastic member. The actuating slider is received in the insulative seat and is slidable along the sliding trough. The acting slider pushes the actuating portion away from the cover to make the hook retract.

Electric connector

An electric connector includes an insulative seat, a circuit board, a flat cable, a latch and an actuating slider. The insulative seat includes a main body and a cover. An action room and a sliding trough are formed between the cover and the main body. The circuit board is received in the main body. The circuit board is extended with a tongue having printed terminals. An end of the flat cable is embedded in the main body and electrically connected to the printed terminals. The latch is received in the action room. The latch has a root with an insert and an extremity with a hook, respectively. The latch has an actuating portion with an elastic member. The actuating slider is received in the insulative seat and is slidable along the sliding trough. The acting slider pushes the actuating portion away from the cover to make the hook retract.
