The first metallic shell has a first soldering leg close to the interface, and the second metallic shell encloses the first metallic shell, wherein the first soldering leg extends away from the insulating body, penetrates the second metallic shell and protrudes out of the second metallic shell.

Plug connector with a conductive rubber element

A plug connector to which a cable having at least one insulated conductor can be connected is provided, wherein the plug connector has a conductive rubber element with at least one conductive layer, but preferably with at least two conductive layers. The electrical connection of the conductors is realized by the conductive rubber element. The conductive rubber element can also form the plug face of the plug connector. As an alternative, the conductors can be connected to contact elements by the conductive rubber element.

A chip slot is disclosed, which includes a slot, where a plurality of terminal groups are disposed in the slot, terminals in each terminal group include metal sheets that are symmetrically disposed on two opposite inner side walls of the slot, and each metal sheet has a bending pin that extends outside the slot; bending directions of bending pins on the terminals in each terminal group are same; and for any row of metal sheets in any two adjacent terminal groups, along an arrangement direction of the row of metal sheets, bending pins of the metal sheets in the adjacent terminal groups are alternately arranged on both sides of the row of metal sheets. The bending pins of the row of metal sheets are bent toward two different directions.

The signal contacts include signal intermediate portions extending between signal mating beams and signal contact tails. The ground contacts include ground intermediate portions extending between ground mating beams and ground contact tails. The contact assembly includes front and rear contact holders. The contact assembly includes a ground bus bridge extending between each of the ground contacts to electrically common each of the ground contacts. The ground bus bridge is integral with the ground contacts and extends across the signal intermediate portions in close proximity to the signal intermediate portions for resonance control of signals transmitted along the signal contacts.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR HAVING A GROUND BUS WIRE

A contact assembly for an electrical connector includes a contact positioner having contact support walls holding a contact array. The contact array includes signal contacts and ground contacts interspersed with the signal contacts. The signal contacts include mating ends configured to be mated with a mating electrical connector and mounting ends configured to be terminated to a host circuit board. The signal contacts include transition portions between the mating ends and the mounting ends. The ground contacts include mating ends, mounting ends, and transition portions between the mating ends and the mounting ends. The contract assembly includes a ground bus wire extending transversely across the contact array. The ground bus wire is electrically connected to each of the ground contacts. The ground bus wire is electrically isolated from each of the signal contacts.

The bladed power connector includes a dielectric frame extending between a first end configured to face a second circuit board and a second end received in the card slot. The bladed power connector includes a first blade at a first side of the dielectric frame and a second blade at a second side of the dielectric frame. The blades include mating edges and a terminating ends opposite the mating edges. The terminating ends includes press-fit pins configured to be press-fit into the second circuit board.

An electrical connector is capable of performing stable inspection without affecting an extraction force of a connector engagement portion. The electrical connector includes a housing having an electrical insulation property, an internal terminal held by the housing, and an external terminal held by the housing, with the external terminal to be electrically connected to a ground. The external terminal includes a fitting portion having a first engagement wall portion at one side and having a second engagement wall portion at the other side in a plan view from a connector insertion/extraction direction. A first engagement portion is formed at the first engagement wall portion, and a second engagement portion is formed at the second engagement wall portion.

CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY

In a connector assembly in which a first connector that includes a first insulator, first terminals, and a first shell and is mounted on a first board and a second connector that includes a second insulator, second terminals, and a second shell and is mounted on a second board are connected with each other, a first ground pattern that has a frame-like shape and is formed on the first board is soldered to the first shell with first solder, and a second ground pattern that has a frame-like shape and is formed on the second board is soldered to the second shell with second solder. An inner space in which the first terminals and the second terminals are positioned is completely shielded from the outside without any gap.

CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY

In a connector assembly in which a first connector and a second connector are fitted to each other, a first shell, which has a rectangular frame-like shape and serves as an outer shell of the first connector, includes curved portions on upper ends of respective sides of the rectangle, and a second shell, which has a rectangular frame-like shape and serves as an outer shell of the second connector, includes convex portions, which are elongated along respective sides to be slender, on outer surfaces on the sides of the rectangle. The curved portions and the convex portions are positioned so that the curved portions and the convex portions are partially overlapped with each other. The convex portions are in contact with the first shell through the entire lengths, and the curved portions are in contact with the second shell through the entire lengths.

The lateral wall is seamlessly continuous over an entire circumference of the frame, and the lateral wall and the blocking portion are formed of a single member and are integrated.
