ADAPTER CONNECTOR WITH IMPROVED SHIELDING EFFECT
An adapter connector includes a terminal assembly, a first adapter housing and a second adapter housing. The terminal assembly includes a first terminal clamping portion at a first end and a second terminal clamping portion at a second end. The terminal assembly includes a first terminal module including a first insulating block, a number of first adapter terminals, a first metal shield provided on a first side of the first insulating block, a second metal shield provided on a second side of the first insulating block, and a first conductive plate. The first adapter terminals include a number of first ground terminals. The first metal shield is in contact with one side of the first grounding terminals, and the first conductive plate is in contact with another side of the first ground terminal.

A chip slot is disclosed, which includes a slot, where a plurality of terminal groups are disposed in the slot, terminals in each terminal group include metal sheets that are symmetrically disposed on two opposite inner side walls of the slot, and each metal sheet has a bending pin that extends outside the slot; bending directions of bending pins on the terminals in each terminal group are same; and for any row of metal sheets in any two adjacent terminal groups, along an arrangement direction of the row of metal sheets, bending pins of the metal sheets in the adjacent terminal groups are alternately arranged on both sides of the row of metal sheets. The bending pins of the row of metal sheets are bent toward two different directions.
Backplane connector with improved mounting block
A backplane connector includes a housing, a number of terminal modules assembled to the housing, and a mounting block. The housing includes a base, a first side wall and a second side wall. Each terminal module includes a first signal terminal and a second signal terminal. The first signal terminal has a first mounting foot, and the second signal terminal has a second mounting foot. The housing includes a receiving groove at a bottom end of the base. The mounting block is received in the receiving groove. The mounting block is made of electroplated plastic. The mounting block has an opening for the first mounting foot and the second mounting foot to extend through. As a result, the backplane connector has a better shielding effect.
Electrical connector with protrusions on the outer peripheral wall of the shield and device using the same
A connector includes a housing, an outer shield including a tubular portion, and a terminal surrounded by the tubular portion of the outer shield. The connector is connected to a mating connector by moving toward the mating connector in a predetermined direction relatively with respect to the mating connector. A first end of the tubular portion of the outer shield is located in the predetermined direction in the tubular portion. The tubular portion of the outer shield has an inner circumferential surface facing a hollow space, an outer circumferential surface opposite to the inner circumferential surface, and a distal end surface provided at the first end. At least one of the distal end surface, the outer circumferential surface, and the inner circumferential surface is seamless over an entire circumference of the tubular portion surrounding the hollow space along a circumferential direction of the tubular portion.
CARD SOCKET APPARATUS AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
This application discloses a card socket apparatus and an electronic device, and relates to the technical field of communication devices. The card socket apparatus includes a mainboard, a mainboard upper cover, a support, a first flexible circuit board, and a second flexible circuit board. The mainboard is provided with a first opening, and the mainboard upper cover and the support are separately fixed on two sides of the mainboard. The first flexible circuit board is arranged on the mainboard upper cover, the first flexible circuit board includes a first card socket and a first electrical connection portion, and the first electrical connection portion is electrically connected to the first card socket. The second flexible circuit board is arranged on the support, the second flexible circuit board includes a second card socket and a second electrical connection portion, and the second electrical connection portion is electrically connected to the second card socket. The first card socket and the second card socket are both arranged opposite to the first opening, and a card mounting space is formed between the first card socket and the second card socket. The first electrical connection portion is electrically connected to the mainboard, and the second electrical connection portion is electrically connected to the mainboard.
Backplane connector
A backplane connector includes a number of first conductive terminals, an insulating bracket, a first metal shield and a second metal shield. The first conductive terminal includes a first mating portion, a first tail portion and a first connection portion. The first conductive terminals include first differential signal terminals, a first ground terminal and a second ground terminal. The first mating portion, the first connection portion and the first tail portion extend along a mating direction so that the structural design of the conductive terminal is simplified. The first metal shield, the second metal shield, the first mating portion of the first grounding terminal and the first mating portion of the second grounding terminal are enclosed to form a shielding space. The first mating portions of the first differential signal terminals are located in the shielding space.
Electrical connector with improved safety features
An electrical connector includes an insulation body, a main plate, a side plate and a plurality of terminals. The insulation body has at least one aperture penetrating through an upper surface and a lower surface of the insulation body. The main plate is fastened in the insulation body. The side plate is fastened in the insulation body. The side plate is disposed to one side of the main plate. The main plate has a first corresponding side. The side plate has a second corresponding side. The second corresponding side is corresponding to the first corresponding side in the at least one aperture. The first corresponding side and the second corresponding side are exposed to an outside of the insulation body through the at least one aperture. The plurality of the terminals are mounted in the insulation body.
Clip pin for a printed circuit board of an information handling system
In one embodiment, a clip pin of a secondary printed circuit board removably coupled to a primary printed circuit board and a backplate in an information handling system includes: an open end configured to receive a guide pin of the backplate within a clip pin hole of the primary printed circuit board, the guide pin configured to removably couple to the clip pin via the open end; a bulbous portion disposed proximate to the open end, the guide pin causing the bulbous portion to apply an outward force on an inner wall of the clip pin hole; and a plurality of signal pins disposed within the bulbous portion, the outward force causing the plurality of signal pins to communicably couple to the inner wall to transmit a signal from the secondary printed circuit board to the primary printed circuit board.
IDCC connection system and process
An Insulation Displacement Contact Compliant connector system (IDCC) which includes a housing, header pins, and a Printed Circuit Board (PCB). Each header pin has at least a single barb to be retained into the housing. Each pin has a blade for contacting a wire. A compliant feature on the pin retains itself into holes in the PCB. The housing has a negative space similarly shaped to the pin. The housing includes a strain relief which provides a lead-in for a wire. When the system is fully assembled, the pins reside in the housing, and exit through the housing and into and through respective holes in the PCB. A wire can be inserted into the housing once the pins reside in the housing. There are several options for the assembly process including a) a pin-to-housing insertion process; b) a housing assembly-to-PCB process or a connector-to-PCB process; and c) a wired housing assembly-to-PCB assembly process or a wire harness-to-PCB assembly process.
Backplane connector with improved shielding effect
A backplane connector includes a housing, a number of terminal modules assembled to the housing, and a metal shield surrounding member. The housing includes a base, a first side wall and a second side wall. The base, the first side wall and the second side wall jointly form a receiving space for at least partially receiving a mating connector. The terminal module includes a first signal terminal, a second signal terminal and an insulating block fixed on the first signal terminal and the second signal terminal. The metal shield surrounding member at least partially surrounds the periphery of the first signal terminal and the second signal terminal. As a result, the shielding effect of the backplane connector is improved.
