An electrical connector includes an insulative housing defining a mating surface and a mating slot recessed from the mating surface and extending in a longitudinal direction, plural conductive terminals arranged on the insulative housing, and a pair of reinforcing members. The insulative housing comprises two side walls extending along the longitudinal direction and two end walls connecting with the side walls. The conductive terminal comprises a contact portion protruding into the mating slot and a soldering portion extending out of the insulative housing. Each of the end walls defines a groove penetrating the mating surface and communicating with the mating slot and an exterior in the longitudinal direction. Each reinforcing member comprises an end wall portion and a fixing portion retained in the insulative housing. The end wall portion is accommodated in a corresponding groove to complete a corresponding end wall of the insulative housing.

Electrical Connector and Connector Assembly

An electrical connector comprises an insulation housing, a plurality of grounding terminal columns and a plurality of hybrid terminal columns. The plurality of grounding terminal columns are arranged on the insulation housing and comprises a plurality of first grounding terminals. The plurality of hybrid terminal columns are arranged on the insulation housing adjacent respective ones of the plurality of grounding terminal columns and includes a plurality of second grounding terminals and a plurality of differential signal terminal pairs. Each of the differential signal terminal pairs is located between two adjacent second grounding terminals in one hybrid terminal column and is adjacent to two first grounding terminals of the grounding terminal columns adjacent to the one hybrid terminal column at both sides thereof.

ELECTRICAL INTERCONNECT

A socket assembly includes an electrical interconnect having an insulator having apertures. The electrical interconnect includes primary contacts and secondary contacts received in corresponding apertures. The primary contacts include a primary conductive polymer column having upper contact tips and lower contact tips for electrically interconnecting first and second electronic packages. The secondary contacts include a secondary conductive polymer column having upper contact tips and lower contact tips for electrically interconnecting the first and second electronic packages. The contact tips of the secondary conductive polymer columns have a different shape from the shape of the contact tips of the primary conductive polymer columns.

The disclosure relates to a conductive housing for the connector and a connector comprising the conductive housing. The conductive housing comprises a plurality of side surfaces, at least one of which comprising a plurality of terminal connection portions spaced apart from one another at an edge portion of the side surface, and a gap being formed between two adjacent terminal connection portions; and a plurality of terminal pins, each of which being connected to the respective terminal connection portion. The conductive housing further comprises at least one conductive elastic piece, one of which being connected between the two adjacent terminal connection portions to at least partially cover the gap between the two adjacent terminal connection portions. By means of such arrangement, the conductive elastic piece covers most areas between the terminal pins so as to enhance electromagnetic compatibility, and the conductive elastic piece has elasticity, contacting reliability and can be repeatably plugged, and the conductive housing has a simple manufacturing process, a low cost and a low defective rate.

High voltage contact system

This disclosure provides a method and apparatus for connecting wires and interlocking wires to an electrical component. More specifically, an electrical connector that includes an insulative housing, two electrical contacts, and two interlocking contacts is disclosed. In an embodiment, each electrical contact includes a female end, a press-fit end, and a transition portion. The transition portion is designed such that the first female end and the first press-fit end may be properly aligned depending on the application. The transition portion also provides support and stability to the electrical contacts when they are disposed within the insulative housing. The insulative housing includes four contact recesses. In an embodiment, the electrical connector allows for the safe, efficient, re-usable, and reliable connection for connecting high-voltage wires to a corresponding sensitive electrical component (e.g., a printed circuit board).

CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY

In a connector assembly in which a first connector that includes a first insulator, first terminals, and a first shell and is mounted on a first board and a second connector that includes a second insulator, second terminals, and a second shell and is mounted on a second board are connected with each other, a first ground pattern that has a frame-like shape and is formed on the first board is soldered to the first shell with first solder, and a second ground pattern that has a frame-like shape and is formed on the second board is soldered to the second shell with second solder. An inner space in which the first terminals and the second terminals are positioned is completely shielded from the outside without any gap.

Connector and connector device

A connector includes a housing, an outer shield fixed to the housing and including a tubular portion, and a terminal held by the housing and surrounded by the tubular portion of the outer shield. The tubular portion has a first end and a second end opposite to each other. The first end and the second end of the tubular portion open. The tubular portion surrounds a hollow space. The connector is configured to be connected to a mating connector by moving toward the mating connector in a predetermined direction relatively with respect to the mating connector. The first end of the tubular portion of the outer shield is located in the predetermined direction in the tubular portion. The tubular portion of the outer shield has an inner circumferential surface facing the hollow space, an outer circumferential surface opposite to the inner circumferential surface, and a distal end surface provided at the first end. At least one of the distal end surface, the outer circumferential surface, and the inner circumferential surface is seamless over an entire circumference of the tubular portion surrounding the hollow space along a circumferential direction of the tubular portion.

ELECTRICAL UNIT

An electrical unit may include a circuit board, a plurality of first terminals having respective first tabs fixed to the circuit board, a plurality of second terminals having respective second tabs fixed to the circuit board, the second tabs offset from the first tabs in a first direction and a second direction, and/or a terminal housing disposed over the plurality of first terminals and the plurality of second terminals, and connected to the circuit board. A method of assembling an electrical unit may include connecting first tabs with the circuit board, connecting second tabs with the circuit board such that each second tab is at least partially offset from each of the first tabs the plurality of first terminals in a first direction and a second direction, and/or disposing the terminal housing over the first and second terminals.

MEMORY SLOT AND PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD AND NETWORK SYSTEM

A chip slot is disclosed, which includes a slot, where a plurality of terminal groups are disposed in the slot, terminals in each terminal group include metal sheets that are symmetrically disposed on two opposite inner side walls of the slot, and each metal sheet has a bending pin that extends outside the slot; bending directions of bending pins on the terminals in each terminal group are same; and for any row of metal sheets in any two adjacent terminal groups, along an arrangement direction of the row of metal sheets, bending pins of the metal sheets in the adjacent terminal groups are alternately arranged on both sides of the row of metal sheets. The bending pins of the row of metal sheets are bent toward two different directions.
