CONTACT ELEMENT AND CONDUCTOR TERMINAL FOR CONNECTING AN ELECTRICAL CONDUCTOR
A contact element for connecting an electrical conductor and a conductor terminal with such a contact element are provided. The contact element includes a conductor insertion area in which there are two opposite first side walls, a first floor section connecting the first side walls and a first cover section opposite the first floor section. The first side walls, the first floor section and the first cover section limit a conductor insertion channel. One or both first side walls each have at least one spring tongue freed from the first floor section and the first cover section, which tongue forms a clamping point for clamping an electrical conductor by means of a spring force.

A PCIe/SAS female connector includes a frame body, a terminal assembly, and a cover member; the frame body including a groove disposed on an end thereof; the terminal assembly including a Serial Advanced Technology Attachment (SATA) 7 pin signal and grounding terminal inserted in the frame body and having a head portion and a foot. When the SATA 7 pin signal and grounding terminal is inserted in the frame body, the head portion is in the groove. The cover member includes an elastic plate and a foot; the elastic plate disposed on the head portion of the cover member. When the PCIe/SAS female connector is engaged with a male connector, the head portion of the SATA 7 pin signal and grounding terminal contacts the elastic plate of the cover member. The foot of the SATA 7 pin signal and grounding terminal and the foot of the cover member are welded in an identical Printed Circuit Board (PCB) pad.
CONNECTOR AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING THE SAME
A connector and an electronic device having the connector are disclosed. The connector includes: a housing formed with an insulator and mounted at a substrate in order to process a digital signal; a pair of sockets that process a Radio Frequency (RF) signal; a pair of terminals formed at a sub PCB in order to process the RF signal; and a signal processor that processes the RF signal and the digital signal. Various embodiments of the present disclosure are possible.
Connector with thermal management
A connector is disclosed that includes housing positioned within a cage, the connector having a first port and second port that are vertically spaced apart. A thermal management module is positioned between the two ports. The thermal management module directs thermal energy from one or both ports out a rear wall of the connector. A heat sink can be coupled to the thermal management module to improve thermal dissipation.
Radio frequency connector
A radio frequency connector comprises a first base. The end face of one end of a first shielding frame contacts with a first external PCB. The end, close to the first external PCB, of the first shielding frame is in the shape of a complete and gapless ring. The first shielding frame disposed around the first base is complete and gapless and can realize 360° omnidirectional and dead zone-free shielding of a first terminal on the first base, so that the anti-interference capacity of the radio frequency connector is effectively improved, and the electrical performance of the radio frequency connector is improved, accordingly.
ELECTRIC CONNECTION SOCKET
An electric connection socket for relaying electric signals between a circuit substrate and an electric component includes: a metal housing which has a through hole enabling communication between the top surface and the bottom surface thereof, and on the top surface of which the electric component is mounted and on the bottom surface of which the circuit substrate is mounted; and a signal pin inserted into the through hole to configure a coaxial line between the inner wall surfaces of the through hole, and which is electrically connected at one end to a signal path first pad electrode of the circuit substrate and is electrically connected at the other end to a signal path terminal of the electric component. On the bottom surface, the metal housing has a ground connection unit which contacts a second pad electrode for grounding formed on the circuit substrate and which grounds the metal housing.
RADIO-FREQUENCY CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
A radio-frequency connector assembly includes a radio-frequency line, connector male terminals, connector female terminals, and a circuit board, wherein each connector male terminal includes a male terminal substrate; each connector female terminal includes a female terminal substrate; the connector male terminal further includes a shielding case which shields the male terminal substrate and is conductive with the radio-frequency line in a grounding manner; and the connector female terminal further includes a shielding frame which is internally provided with the female terminal substrate and is circumferentially seamless entirely, and the bottom end of the shielding frame makes contact with the circuit board to form an annular contact region, so that signals of the connector female terminals will not leak sideways; and the shielding cases can prevent signal leakage and signal interference from the top of the shielding frame, so that matched signal terminals are kept in a fully-shielded operating environment.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
An angled type connector assembly includes a receptacle connector mounted upon a printed circuit board and having an insulative housing with an oblique opening to receive a plug connector, and a bottom opening through which the mating pads on the printed circuit board is upwardly exposed. The plug connector includes two rows of contacts respectively mechanically and electrically connected to the corresponding two rows of wires. The plug connector forms an oblique mating end or interface relative to an extending direction of the plug, on which the contacting sections of the contacts are exposed to mate with the corresponding mating pads on the printed circuit board.
