Split cover electrical connector for flat cable
An electrical connector includes a housing with a housing body and a cover mount. The housing has a cable cavity that extends through the cover mount along a connector axis. The electrical connector includes a first cover. The first cover is located on the first side of the connector axis. A second cover is located on a second side of the connector axis. The first cover engages the second cover to retain the covers in their relative positions. The covers also engage the cover mount to retain their position relative to the housing.

A plug connection between distal video and proximal cable units, including: a plug; and a connector inserted into the plug, the plug is a glass cast part arranged at a proximal end of the distal video unit; the connector is arranged at a distal end of the proximal cable unit; the plug is connected to a housing of the distal video unit, has electrical feedthroughs and is connected on a distal side to a first flexboard in the distal video unit and has a connector receptacle; the connector is enclosed in a housing formed to fit the connector receptacle; the connector has a plurality of electrical feedthroughs arranged in accordance with an arrangement of the electrical feedthroughs of the plug; and the electrical feedthroughs are connected proximally to a second flexboard having a planar solder pad structure having solder pads, to which signal and connecting cables are soldered.
CONNECTOR
A connector, comprising: a housing; a plurality of elastic members combined with the housing; and a plurality of terminals mounted in the housing, wherein the housing can be inserted into an opening formed in a wall member, the elastic members include a mating exposed surface exposed on a mating surface of the housing and a side wall exposed surface exposed on a side wall surface of the housing and constitute at least one left and right symmetric pair positioned respectively on both left and right sides in the width direction of the housing, and the side wall exposed surface includes a rib extending in the mating direction that is able to come into contact with an inner surface of the opening.
Connection Structure
A connection structure according to an embodiment disclosed in the present disclosure includes: a first connection part provided on a surface of a first member, the first member including at least one conductor pattern; and a second connection part provided on a surface of a second member, the second member having at least one conductive pad formed on a surface thereof and configured to be coupled to a surface of the first connection part by a magnetic force so that at least one conductor pattern and at least one conductive pad are electrically connected to each other.

A connector includes: a terminal fitting; a housing including a smooth terminal lead-out area where a terminal outlet for projecting a conductor connection part of the terminal fitting on the inner side toward an outer side is provided; a conductive component shaped in a sheet-like form with a conductor and an insulator exhibiting flexibility, the conductive component including a conductor connection area that physically and electrically connects the conductor to the conductor connection part, and a conductor lead-out area led out from the conductor connection area toward a lead-out direction projecting from the housing; and a reinforcing plate shaped in a planar shape with an insulating material, the reinforcing plate being sandwiched between the conductor connection area and the terminal lead-out area. The housing includes a protruded body protruded toward the conductor lead-out area side of the conductive component than a same plane with the terminal lead-out area.
Connector
In a connector, a main locking structure and an auxiliary locking structure are provided between a housing and a cover for maintaining the housing and the cover in a completely assembled state by locking the move of the cover in the connector removal direction with respect to the housing. The main locking structure includes: a first main locking body provided to a first housing sidewall and a second housing sidewall; and a second main locking body provided to a first cover sidewall and a second cover sidewall and engaged with the first main locking body. The auxiliary locking structure includes: a first auxiliary locking body provided to the first housing sidewall and the second housing sidewall; and a second auxiliary locking body provided to the first cover sidewall and the second cover sidewall on a second opening side than the second main locking body is.

A surgical device includes a handle assembly including a controller and a first electrical connector. The surgical device also includes an adapter assembly having: a tubular housing having a proximal end portion configured to couple to the handle assembly, and a distal end portion; a second electrical connector disposed at the proximal end portion and configured to couple to the first electrical connector; an electrical contact assembly disposed at the distal end portion; and a wire harness disposed within the tubular housing and interconnecting the second electrical connector and the electrical contact assembly. The surgical device also includes a surgical end effector configured to couple to the distal end portion of the adapter assembly, the surgical end effector includes an electrical contact configured to couple to the electrical contact assembly.
Electrical cable and arrangement comprising an electrical cable
An electrical cable includes a plurality of electrical lines extending from a first section to a third section through a second section. Each electrical line is enveloped by an insulating sheath. The electrical lines are arranged side-by-side in the first section in a first plane and in the third section in a third plane. The insulating sheath is integrally formed as a first insulating section in the first section and as a third insulating section in the third section. The insulating sheath is divided into a first further insulating section and a second further insulating section in the second section that are separated from each other by a gap. The first further insulating section is guided from the first insulating section to the third insulating section in a first arcuate path and the second further insulating section is guided from the first insulating section to the third insulating section in a second arcuate path.
Flame-retardant flat electrical cable
A flat electrical cable extends longitudinally along a length of the cable. The flat electrical cable includes a plurality of conductor sets extending along the length of the cable. Each conductor set includes one or more insulated electrical conductors. Each insulated conductor includes a central conductor surrounded by a first dielectric material. The plurality of conductor sets includes a middle conductor set disposed between two other conductor sets and an edge conductor set disposed proximal to a longitudinal edge of the cable. The first dielectric material of each insulated conductor of the edge, but not the middle, conductor set includes an intumescent flame retardant material.

With respect to a connector for attachment to a shielded flat cable including a signal wire and a ground wire arranged in parallel, an insulating layer covering the signal wire and the ground wire; and a first shield layer and a second shield layer respectively covering both sides of the insulating layer, wherein a terminal in which the signal wire and the ground wire are exposed is formed on a first shield layer side at an end in a longitudinal direction, the connector includes a casing, wherein the casing includes a bottom to face the first shield layer or the second shield layer, a top to face the first shield layer or the second shield layer, a side wall connected to the bottom and the top, a signal wire contact member, a ground wire contact member, and the connector further includes a signal wire contact member configured to come in contact with the signal wire of the terminal upon the shielded flat cable being attached, a ground wire contact member configured to come in contact with the ground wire of the terminal upon the shielded flat cable being attached, a first shield layer contact member configured to come in contact with the first shield layer upon the shielded flat cable being attached, and a second shield layer contact member configured to be electrically coupled to the second shield layer upon the shielded flat cable being attached, wherein the ground wire contact member is electrically coupled to the first shield layer contact member.
