Connector attachable to a flat cable and connectable to a counterpart connector
A connector that is attachable to an end of a flat cable and is connectable to a counterpart connector includes a housing having a plate-shaped portion and a terminal accommodating portion, and a socket terminal housed in the terminal accommodating portion. The socket terminal has a box portion in which a pin terminal of the counterpart connector is to be inserted, and a spring portion having a cantilever shape, the spring portion extending from the box portion and protruding onto the plate-shaped portion. The end of the flat cable is to be interposed between the plate-shaped portion and the spring portion of the socket terminal. The terminal accommodating portion receives part of force that the spring portion receives from the flat cable.
Axially Resilient Pressing Contact Pin
An axially resilient press-in contact pin includes a metal body and an electrically conductive, elastic element. The metal body includes a pin-shaped section and a press-in spring. The press-in spring is on a first end of the pin-shaped section. The elastic element surrounds at least portions of the pin-shaped section and extends beyond a second end (i.e., free end region) of the pin-shaped section.
INTERCONNECT, AN ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLY AND A METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING AN ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLY
An interconnect for connecting a first electronic circuit to a second, external stretchable electronic circuit device comprises: conductive lines of the first electronic circuit arranged in a plane; connectors configured to define an overlap in the plane between each end of the conductive lines with a corresponding end of stretchable conductive lines providing an electrical connection between the conductive lines and the stretchable conductive lines over the entire overlap; and at least one anchoring structure for providing an anchoring of the first electronic circuit with the second, external stretchable electronic circuit device, wherein the at least one anchoring structure provides anchoring transverse to the plane in anchoring positions on opposite sides of the overlap.

PACKAGE BOARD, ANTENNA PACKAGE INCLUDING THE SAME AND IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE INCLUDING THE SAME
A package board according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a first core layer, a feeding wiring disposed on the first core layer, and a first connector mounted on the first core layer and electrically connected to the feeding wiring through a row directional side thereof The feeding wiring includes a first portion extending in a column direction of the first core layer and a second portion bent from the first portion to extend in a row direction of the first core layer.
DECOUPLED SPRING AND ELECTRICAL PATH IN CONNECTOR INTERFACE
Connectors that support high-speed data transfers and have a high signal quality, good reliability, and are readily manufactured. One example can provide a connector receptacle that supports high-speed data transfers and has a high signal quality by employing contacts that are directly attached to a flexible circuit board.
COMPACT ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR
A receptacle connector includes a metal housing configured to prevent backwards insertion of a plug. The receptacle connector has walls bounding an assembly space with an insulative body therein. One wall is distant from an exterior surface of the insulative body to form an abutting groove between the metal housing and the insulative body. The abutting groove is configured to receive an abutting wall of the plug connector. The insulative body includes mating interface configured to receive a terminal portion of a plug connector. A wall of the metal housing opposite the abutting groove is adjacent a surface of the insulative body has a projection. If a user attempts to insert the plug with the terminal portion backwards, the projection interferes with the abutting wall, preventing backwards insertion of the terminal portion of the plug into the mating interface.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING CABLE CONNECTOR
Provided is an electronic device including a cable connector. The electronic device including a cable connector according to various embodiments of the disclosure may include: a cable including a connector part comprising a connector connected to one end part of the cable and configured to deliver an electrical signal, and a cable coupling part comprising a coupler including an opening and an internal surface configured to have the connector part of the cable inserted therein and combined therewith, the cable coupling part being electrically connected to the connector part. The connector part may include a hook part comprising a hook configured to snap and combine the connector part with the cable coupling part by being elastically deformed based on the connector part being inserted into the cable coupling part, and a contact part comprising a contact separated from the hook part and configured to form an electrical contact with the cable coupling part by pressurizing at least a part of the internal surface of the cable coupling part by its elastic force by being elastically deformed independently of the hook part based on the connector part being combined with the cable coupling part. In various embodiments, the hook part may be extended from the connector part and bent and formed in a direction opposite to a direction in which the connector part is combined with the cable coupling part. An angle of the bending may be set so that the hook part has an overlap with the internal surface of the cable coupling part, so that the hook part may elastically pressurize the internal surface of the cable coupling part.
