Medical lead connectors with contact electrodes
Embodiments disclosed herein include devices and methods pertaining to medical lead connectors. According to various embodiments of the disclosed technology, disclosed is a lead connector that may include a base member; a flexible circuit disposed on the base member and including a plurality of electrical contacts; a plurality of contacts positioned to allow contact between a lead inserted into the lead connector and the plurality of contacts and between the plurality of contacts and the plurality of electrical contacts of the flexible circuit; and a casing that includes a bottom casing and a cover member. When a lead is inserted into the lead connector via an opening on the cover member, the lead may push against the plurality of contacts, electrically coupling the lead to the flexible circuit via the plurality of contacts and the plurality of electrical contacts of the flexible circuit.
CONNECTOR DEVICE AND CONNECTOR SYSTEM
The present technology relates to a connector device and a connector system capable of achieving reduction in manufacturing cost. Provided is a connector device including a first contact used in actual use, and a second contact used only in manufacturing, in which the first contact and the second contact have different core lengths in a case of being viewed from a connection target side. The present technology can be applied to a camera device electrically connected to a vehicle connector, for example.
Concealed connector for an electronic device
An electronic device includes a concealed electrical connector positioned within a speaker opening defined by an enclosure of the electronic device. A mating connector is configured to fit through the speaker opening and couple to the concealed electrical connector to form a bidirectional communications path with circuitry within the electronic device.

A connector includes a first insulator having a recess portion, a second insulator having a protrusion portion, and a contact, the contact including a mounting portion mounted on a substrate, a first retained portion retained by the first insulator, a second retained portion retained by the second insulator, a deformable joint portion, and a connection portion connected to a conductive portion of the substrate, the first retained portion including a recessed bent portion accommodated in the recess portion, the first insulator and the second insulator being fitted to each other such that a conductor portion of an electric wire is sandwiched between the recessed bent portion of the first retained portion and the protrusion portion of the second insulator, the conductor portion of the electric wire making contact with the recessed bent portion to be electrically connected to the conductive portion of the substrate via the contact.

A connector includes a first insulator having a recess portion, a second insulator having a protrusion portion, and a contact, the contact including a mounting portion mounted on a substrate, a first retained portion retained by the first insulator, a second retained portion retained by the second insulator, a deformable joint portion, and a connection portion connected to a conductive portion of the substrate, the first retained portion including a recessed bent portion accommodated in the recess portion, the first insulator and the second insulator being fitted to each other such that a conductor portion of an electric wire is sandwiched between the recessed bent portion of the first retained portion and the protrusion portion of the second insulator, the conductor portion of the electric wire making contact with the recessed bent portion to be electrically connected to the conductive portion of the substrate via the contact.
Connection device and electrical tunnel installation
A connection device for connecting a multicore branch line to a flat cable has a connection device housing that allows the flat cable to pass through, and penetration contacts for contacting the flat cable without stripping of the insulation. The penetration contacts are situated in the connection device housing. The connection device also has an electrical disconnection point between the branch line and the flat cable, and at least one seal in the area of at least one opening of the connection device housing for protection from penetration of dust and/or water. The connection device housing is made, at least partially, of plastic, and on its outer side or inner side is coated with a diffusion barrier layer, wherein the diffusion barrier layer includes one or more layers, one of which is a metallic layer.

In this context, the broadband socket connector is connectable to the broadband plug connector, wherein the socket lateral dimension is greater or equal to the plug lateral dimension.

In this context, the broadband socket connector is connectable to the broadband plug connector, wherein the socket lateral dimension is greater or equal to the plug lateral dimension.
