Connector for Flat Conductor
A second terminal includes a base portion extending along a bottom surface of a fitting chamber from a side of an opening of the fitting chamber toward a depth wall. The base portion includes a fixed piece fixed to the bottom surface and a movable piece that turns on the fixed piece as the turning fulcrum in a direction away from the bottom surface. The second terminal utilizes the total length of a spring piece portion and the movable piece as the spring length for elastically displacing a contact part.
Land grid array socket for electro-optical modules
An LGA socket suitable for electro-optical modules, such as transceivers having channels operable at 25 Gbit/s, or greater. A socket may include a socket body having a bottom side to face a printed circuit board (PCB), and a backstop on a top side to receive a leading edge of a module substrate. The backstop has an overhang to contact a first side of the module substrate when seated into the socket body. The socket further includes a first and a second row of electrical contacts, the first row being more proximate to the backstop than is the second row. Contacts extend through the socket body between the top and bottom sides and are positioned relative to the overhang to be compressed against contact pads on a second side of the module substrate by a torque applied to the module substrate about a fulcrum within the socket body.

SERVER AND RISER CABLE HOLDER
A server includes a casing, a motherboard, a riser cable holder, a riser cable and an expansion card. The motherboard is located in the casing. The riser cable holder includes a main body, a first holder and a second holder. The main body is fixed in the casing, the first holder and the second holder are respectively connected to different positions of the main body, and the first holder and the second holder are in asymmetric arrangement relative to the main body. The riser cable is mounted on the main body and electrically connected to the motherboard. The first holder and the second holder are detachably engaged with the riser cable. The expansion card is inserted into the riser cable.

Board edge connector
A board edge connector to which a board is inserted along an oblique direction relative to its fixed posture includes a main body, a plurality of contacts arranged in juxtaposition on the main body along a direction perpendicular to an insertion direction of the board, and a cover member covering the main body. The main body includes a base portion on which the multiple contacts are juxtaposed and a pair of arm portions extending from the base portion along opposed lateral edges of the board which assumes a fixed posture. The cover member includes an attaching portion covering the base portion and a pair of arm members covering lateral faces of the pair of arm portions, the pair of arm members being formed integral with the attaching portion.

Connector and electronic device using the connector
A transmission connector includes a transmission optical module having a signal electrode inputting/outputting an electric signal and a transmission receptacle having a contact to be electrically connected to the signal electrode when fitted to the transmission optical module. The transmission modules includes a second cutout for preventing erroneous fitting to a reception receptacle. The transmission receptacle includes a first projection for preventing erroneous fitting to a reception optical module.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE
There is provided an electronic device that is capable of restraining static electricity from flowing to electronic components mounted on the electronic device. A connector shield has an electrostatic protecting portion disposed along an opening of a fitting recess of a connector. The electrostatic protecting portion is positioned in a direction along a circuit board on which the connecter is mounted, rather than at least one of a plurality of signal terminals that the connector has.
Cable connector
A cable connector for fixing a fastening a cable can include a connector cover rotatable fastened to a connector body, and a cover fixing unit disposed on a side of the connector body. The connector cover can include connector terminals arranged side by side along an edge of an end thereof, and a guide groove extending in a direction in which the connector terminals are arranged. Thus, in the cable connector, a flat cable can be inserted into the cable connector in the width direction. As such, damage to the cable connector in the fastening process of the flat cable can be prevented.
