Provided is a connector which can prevent slide-contact between an insulation part and a mating terminal while improving a human body contact prevention function. A tip end insulation part provided to an end face of a terminal fitting main body is receded with respect to a contact face which contacts with a mating terminal, thereby preventing the slide-contact between an insulation part and a mating terminal when connecting the connectors to each other. Further, a side insulation parts provided so as to sandwich the tip end insulation part in the Y direction are protruded with respect to the tip end insulation part, so a finger of an operator is unlikely to reach to the contact face, thereby improving the human body contact prevention function.

Contact

A contact preventing a plurality of current paths joining together and having a contact main body having a wire fixing portion and a contacting member which is a member formed separately from the contact main body is provided. The contact has a contact main body having a wire fixing portion to which a wire is fixed and a contacting member formed separately from the contact main body and configured to be connected to the wire and contact with a mating contact. A portion of the contact main body, contacting with the contacting member has an insulation layer.

PRESS-FIT TERMINAL CONNECTION STRUCTURE

It is aimed to provide a press-fit terminal connection structure in which a board connecting portion of a press-fit terminal is press-fit into a through hole provided in a printed circuit board and which can combine the suppression of scraping of a surface layer and a reduction of a necessary load when the press-fit terminal is inserted into and withdrawn from the through hole and an improvement of a holding force for keeping the press-fit terminal inserted in the through hole. In the press-fit terminal connection structure, the press-fit terminal includes, at least on a surface of the contact point portion, an alloy containing layer mainly containing tin and palladium, and the through hole includes a tin layer on an outermost surface of an inner peripheral surface including at least the contact point portion.

A connecting-conductor is disclosed. The connecting-conductor may have a first conductor-element and a second conductor-element. Each conductor-element has a first end that is mechanically-connected and electrically-conductively connected to a resistor-element. The resistor-element has an electrical-insulating substrate, and a resistive material annularly disposed on at least part of the electrical-insulating substrate. The first end of each conductor-element is electrically-conductively connected to the resistive material. The first conductor does not touch the second conductor, and an electrical pathway is created via the resistive material from one of the conductor-elements to the other of the conductor-elements.

An electrical connector is provided for a wire having a wire end, wherein an uninsulated wire segment extending out of the wire end and an insulated wire segment adjoining the uninsulated wire segment together form an insertion section. The electrical connector comprises a connector body, the connector body having a channel for receiving the insertion section. The connector further comprises an electrical con-nection element, wherein the electrical connection element has a wire contact area, arranged in the channel, for making contact with the uninsulated wire segment and a connection area arranged on the outside of the connector body, wherein the electrical connection element is formed by metallization, in particular a partial metallization, of the connector body. The electrical connector further comprises a cover element, the cover element having a clamping structure. The clamping structure does not project into the channel in an open configuration and projects into the channel from the open channel top side in a closed configuration. The clamping structure is configured to clamp, in the closed configuration, the insertion section between the channel base and the clamping structure and to keep the uninsulated wire segment in contact with the wire contact area.
