An electrical contact sleeve includes a contact spring extending in a longitudinal direction from a base to an end of the electrical contact sleeve on a connector side. The contact spring has a recess and a plurality of spring legs adjoining the recess in a circumferential direction. The spring legs unite to form a free end of the contact spring.

BLIND MATE CONNECTOR BLOCK AND SYSTEMS AND METHODS THEREOF

A connector block comprised of a plurality of spring-embedded blind mate connector assemblies. Each of the spring-embedded blind mate connector assemblies can be comprised of a first connector extending in a first direction and a second connector extending in a second direction opposite the first direction, where the first connector and the second connector can have a common axis and can be operatively coupled to pass a signal between opposite ends of the spring-embedded blind mate connector assembly. The first connector can include a captivator, a connection extension, and a spring between the captivator and the second connector, where the spring can abut the captivator and have an outer diameter no greater than an outer diameter of the captivator.

Connector and wire harness

A connector includes: a housing; and a short-circuit terminal. A deformable portion is configured to deform in a direction of moving away from the terminal during housing of the terminal and to deform in a direction of moving closer to the terminal when the housing of the terminal is finished. The short-circuit terminal has, as different portions, a contact point portion to contact with the two or more terminals and a push target portion to contact with the deformable portion. The short-circuit terminal is configured to reduce its pressure of contact toward the terminal at the contact point portion, during the housing of the terminal, due to a movement of the push target portion along with the deformable portion.

Electrical connector for a controller

An electronic device including a plurality of ports for electrically connecting the device to another device. The electronic device may include a housing including a front, a back and at least a first side and an opposing second side extending between the front and the back, a printed circuit board housed by the housing, and an electrical connector electrically connected to the printed circuit board. The electrical connector may include a first spring contact, a second spring contact, and an electrically conductive bridge mechanically and electrically connecting the first spring contact and the second spring contact. The electrically conductive bridge may be housed by the housing. The first and second spring contacts may extend outside of the housing and may be accessible from the first and second sides of the housing, respectively.

Aircraft ground power plug force tester

The present disclosure describes various alternative embodiments of plug force testers, in particular devices well-suited for testing aircraft ground power connection plugs. The disclosed plug force testers provide a fixed, well-supported position for test pins on which a plug is inserted, which can be positioned to correspond to a height or orientation of the pins in an actual aircraft. Embodiments described also may include means for preventing excessive force application during testing.

Terminal having a conductor and a spring

A terminal, including: a conductor made of a metal material, the conductor being in a form of a plate and being provided with a contact point to be conductively connected to a mating terminal; and a spring formed to be thinner than the conductor and resiliently deformable and provided with a mount mounted on the conductor and a cantilever cantilevered from the mount and relatively displaceable with respect to the conductor, the mating terminal being resiliently held in contact with the contact point by being pressed by the cantilever, a tip of the mating terminal being disposed between the mount and the contact point.
