ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS WITH LINEAR SPRINGS AND RELATED METHODS
20170352984 · 2017-12-07 ·

Connector assemblies having a housing, a pin, and a spring length having two free ends are used as a mechanical connector to secure two objects or components together or an electrical connector for placing two sources in electrical communication with one another. The spring length can be a canted coil spring in which the two free ends are not connected to one another and the coils can have an elliptical shape or a complex coil shape. The spring length can be used with a retaining component, can be used in a recessed slot formed with the housing or the pin, or both with a retaining component and with a recessed slot.

Electric Connector for High Power Charging

An electric connector includes a connector body having a connector core and two protruding cuboidal elements that, together, form a U shape. At least one conducting element is arranged at an inner side of the protruding cuboidal element. The conducting element protrudes, at least partly, from the inner side. The conducting element is arranged slidably between two notches, which are arranged in the cuboidal element. The conducting element and at least one notch of the two are configured for conducting charging current.

CONNECTOR

A connector is provided with first and second housings connectable to each other, a slider to be supported on the first housing, and a biasing member to be arranged between the slider and the first housing. The second housing includes a stopper portion for stopping a connecting operation of the first and second housings by coming into contact with a contact portion of the first housing and a slider lock receiving portion to be locked by a slider lock portion of a slider. The biasing member has a biasing force for pushing the first housing toward a connection position to the second housing when the slider lock receiving portion is locked by the slider lock portion and contact between the stopper portion and the contact portion is released.

Poke-through electrical assembly

An electrical power and/or electronic data unit is mountable in a floor, and is fitted with an upper bezel that is openable and closable to provide selective access to an interior of the unit, which is optionally fitted with one or more electrical power or data outlets. A lower insert including an intumescent block is supported below an upper housing, and is angularly adjustable relative to the upper housing. One or more bores or openings formed in the lower insert allow the passage of cords into a pass-through opening in the upper housing, and out through an upper bezel cover.

SHOCKPROOF ELECTRICAL SOCKET

A connecting socket configured to connect a connector is provided. The connecting socket includes a conductive member, an opening, and an electronic member. The conductive member has a recess. The opening is formed on an end of the connecting socket and communicates with the recess. The electronic member is accommodated in the recess, and has a main body and a plurality of cantilever structures. Each of the cantilever structures includes a fixed end, a free end, a first contact point, and a second contact point. The fixed end is connected to the main body. The free end is disposed between the opening and the fixed end. The first contact point and the second contact point are disposed on opposite surfaces of the cantilever structure. When the connecting socket is connected to the connector, the first and second contact points respectively contact the connector and the conductive member.

Microphone device and microphone stand

There are provided a microphone stand having a connector supporting groove, and a microphone body supported by the microphone stand as a result of insertion of a connector case into the connector supporting groove. A resilient conductive cloth which comes into contact with the connector case is arranged in the connector supporting groove, with the connector case inserted in the connector supporting groove. The conductive cloth is preferably arranged in a ring shape along a lower bottom portion of the annularly formed connector supporting groove. This configuration mitigates rattling generated between the connector supporting groove and the connector case, thereby suppressing generation of a vibration noise due to microphone shaking.
