Connector for connecting wire and connector assembly
A connector for connecting a wire comprises a housing, a conductive terminal, and sealing member. The housing has a receiving passage extending through the housing in an insertion direction in which the wire is inserted into the housing. The receiving passage has an insertion port disposed at an end of the receiving passage in the insertion direction. The conductive terminal is disposed in the receiving passage and electrically connects the wire to a mating conductive terminal of a mating connector. The sealing member is disposed adjacent the insertion port and has a wire receiving passageway though which the wire extends. The sealing member seals the receiving passage at the insertion port.

Sealed electronic control module housing with integral terminal carrier design
An apparatus includes a terminal carrier and a housing shell. The terminal carrier generally comprises a plurality of terminals and a plurality of fastening tabs. The terminals have a first end with a shoulder on a first side of the terminal carrier and a second end on a second side of the terminal carrier with a bend formed a predetermined distance from the second side of the terminal carrier. The housing shell generally has an integral support. The integral support generally comprises a plurality of ports through which the second ends of the terminals extend, with the shoulders on the first end of the terminals providing support to the terminals for a press fit force applied to the first end of the terminals during assembly to a printed circuit board.

WIRE CONNECTOR AND OPERATION METHOD THEREOF
Provided is a wire connector including a first cover and a second cover that exhibit electrically insulating property. In the assembled state, the first cover and the second cover surround an internal space and define a plurality of ports through which the wire is inserted. Further, the wire connector also includes a seal accommodated in the internal space. In the assembled state, the seal closes the gap between the first cover and the second cover, and closes all ports whether there are wires passing through the ports or not, thus isolates the internal space from the exterior by the sealing of the seal. In this way, in an assembled state of the first cover and the second cover, the wire connector has a good sealing effect. Further provided is an operation method of the wire connector.
