CIRCUIT BREAKER WITH INTERFERENCE FIT SOCKET
A circuit breaker includes a housing, separable contacts, a trip mechanism, a first terminal, a second terminal, a first press fit connector, a second press fit connector, a first socket, and a second socket. The first terminal is electrically connected with a first contact of the separable contacts and includes a first base section disposed outwardly from the housing. The second terminal is electrically connected with a second contact and includes a second base section disposed outwardly from the housing. The first press fit connector is attached to the first base section via a first press fit. The second press fit connector is attached to the second base section via a second press fit. The first socket is attached to the first press fit connector. The second socket is attached to the second press fit connector.

CONNECTOR
A connector 10 is provided with a terminal fitting 20 and a housing 50. The housing 50 has an extended surface 57. The extended surface 57 is formed outside a cavity 51 in a width direction and facing one side in a height direction. A locking lance 52 includes a restricting portion 60 and a protruding portion 61. The protruding portion 61 protrudes in the width direction from the restricting portion 60 toward a side where the extended surface 57 is located. The protruding portion 61 has a facing surface (e.g. first facing surface 64) facing the extended surface 57 from the one side in the height direction.
Electrical terminal and connector assembly
In some embodiments, an electrical terminal includes a contact formed and a hood surrounding the contact. The contact and hood have cooperating retention features for securing the contact to the hood, and the hood provides strengthening features for improving the mechanical properties of the contact. The electrical terminal is mounted in a connector assembly. The electrical terminal has features which prevent or minimize damage to a seal of the connector assembly.
Contact carrier having stable detent device
A contact carrier retains a crimp contact inserted therein at a central collar of the crimp contact in a particularly stable manner and at the same time absorb the highest possible plugging forces. The contact carrier has an insulating body and a retaining plate, which can be mounted thereon on the connection side. Furthermore, the contact carrier has at least one detent element, which, in the unassembled state, can assumed both a position locking the plug contact and a position releasing the plug contact. The detent element is part of the insulating body. The retaining plate also has at least one blocking element, which, in the assembled state, fixes the detent element in the position thereof locking the plug contact and thus prevents the transition of the detent element from the locking position into the releasing position.
CONNECTOR
A contact is provided with an engaging portion for engaging with a housing. The housing is provided with an insertion end portion for insertion of the contact, a connection end portion for connection to a partner connection target, a contact insertion hole, and an engagement arm extending in a cantilevered manner from the connection end portion toward the insertion end portion. The engagement arm includes an engaged portion for engaging with the engaging portion, and an extension arm portion extending from the engaged portion toward the insertion end portion. The extension arm portion faces an inner wall defining the contact insertion hole with a space therebetween, and restricts the flexing amount of the engagement arm by the tip side of the extension arm portion abutting against the inner wall when the engagement arm flexes.
PLUG CONNECTOR AND CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
A plug connector for mating with a receptacle connector which is provided with a groove at an upper surface thereof includes: an insulating body; and a locking elastic piece on the insulating body, wherein the insulating body includes a main body and a mating portion extending forward from the main body, a bottom of the mating portion protrudes downward to form a sinking portion, and the sinking portion is located entirely above the groove.
Electrical connector system with multiple flexible terminal retaining beams
An electrical connector system including a connector having a terminal cavity within. The cavity has a rigid floor with a lock nib extending into the cavity, a first flexible beam extending into a rearward portion of the cavity and a second flexible beam extending into a forward portion. The first and second beams both overlie the floor. The system further includes a terminal having a top surface and a bottom surface defining a rigid lock edge. The terminal is received in the cavity such that the first beam engages a rearward portion of the top surface of the terminal and the second beam engages a forward portion of the top surface, thereby biasing the terminal towards the floor. The lock edge engages the lock nib, thereby preventing the terminal from being inadvertently withdrawn from the terminal receiving cavity. The connector may be formed by an additive manufacturing process.
TERMINAL, CONNECTOR, AND ELECTRICAL CONNECTION APPARATUS
An abutting portion is provided as a portion of an edge portion of an upper wall portion, and abuts against an edge portion of a first side wall portion when the upper wall portion bends toward the inside of a tubular wall portion. The projection portion projects from the upper wall portion, and restricts insertion of the tubular wall portion toward the back of the housing by abutting against the housing when the tubular wall portion is inserted into the housing in an orientation different from a predetermined insertion orientation. The engaging portion is configured to be able to engage with an engaged portion provided on an inner side of the housing. The engaging portion is provided on the tubular wall portion at a position that shifted from or separated from the projection portion in the longitudinal direction of the tubular wall portion.
