The shutter is configured to slide from the closed position to the open position only upon simultaneous insertion of both the line and neutral blades of the electrical plug in the plug outlet.

When plugging the pins into a socket, the anti-shock device abuts the socket and is retracted toward the night light main body to enable the part of the pins to be exposed and plugged into the socket. When the anti-shock device is retracted toward the night light main body, the elastic resetting member generates an elastic resetting force.
