Color changing floor outlet cover
A floor electrical outlet cover may be disposed over and coupled to a floor electrical outlet, the floor electrical outlet cover comprising a first color and further comprising at least one opening aligned with the floor electrical outlet, and at least one flap coupled to the floor electrical outlet cover, the flap configured to move from a closed position that restricts access to the floor electrical outlet to an open position that provides access to the floor electrical outlet. A colored electrical plate cover may comprise a second color different from the first color and a structural element coupled to the floor electrical outlet cover. The colored electrical plate cover may further comprise at least one opening aligned with the at least one opening in the floor electrical outlet cover. At least one colored flap cover may be coupled to the flap.
Method and apparatus for conductive charging
A vehicle-charging apparatus has a vehicle part fixed on a vehicle having a housing holding a respective set of fixed concentric circular contacts, a movable robot part having a housing holding a respective set of recessed concentric circular contacts complementary to the vehicle contacts, and an engagement guard movable relative to the housing and vehicle contacts and between a lower position in which the vehicle contacts are protected or and an upper position in which the contacts of the vehicle part are uncovered. A spring urges the engagement guard into the lowered position and the robot part is raised when aligned underneath the vehicle part for pressing the contacts of the robot part up against the engagement guard to uncover the vehicle contacts and engage the contacts of the robot part upwardly with the contacts of the vehicle part.
Magnetic plug
Examples are disclosed that relate to connector systems, magnetic plug assemblies and methods for mating a magnetic plug assembly with a plurality of receptacles. In one example, a magnetic plug assembly comprises a moveable member comprising an aperture and one or more magnets. A plug tip extends through the aperture, and one or more biasing elements urge the moveable member and the one or more magnets toward a distal end of the plug tip, with the moveable member being moveable relative to the plug tip.
Connector
A connector comprises a first housing having a connection end to be inserted into an opening of a second connector, the first housing containing a first electrical contact, wherein the connection end comprises a first opening. The connector further comprises a first cover biased towards a closed position in which the first electrical contact is inaccessible via the first opening, wherein the first cover is moved from the closed position to an open position exposing the first electrical contact during insertion of the connection end into the opening of the second connector.
Connector cover with separate activation and latching mechanisms
An apparatus includes a connector cover and a lever arm coupled to the connector cover, the lever arm being shaped to accommodate a portion of an activating pin, wherein contact of the activating pin with the lever arm causes a movement of the connector cover from a first position to a second position. The apparatus includes a latch assembly comprising a clamp, the clamp in a clamped position preventing the connector cover from moving from the first position to a second position. The apparatus includes a first bracket with a first indentation, the first indentation being sized to accommodate a portion of a first locating pin, wherein an insertion of the first locating pin into the first indentation moves the clamp from the clamped position to an unclamped position, the unclamped position permitting the connector cover to move when activated by the insertion of the activating pin.

The present disclosure discloses a socket with a safety shutter, including a safety shutter device, a socket upper cover, and a socket base; the safety shutter device includes a base plate, and a first sliding structure, a second sliding structure, and a third sliding structure which are slidably connected in the base plate; the first sliding structure and the second sliding structure are connected in an interpenetrating manner; a plurality of jack groups are formed in the socket upper cover; each jack group includes a grounding jack, an I-shaped jack, and a T-shaped jack; and the socket base is provided with a grounding conducting plate, a first conducting plate, and a three-pin second conducting plate corresponding to the T-shaped jack.
ADAPTER
Provided is an adapter. The adapter includes a housing and an elastic component. The elastic component is configured to connect the housing with an installation frame. The elastic component includes an installation body, a blocking portion and a clamping elastic piece, the blocking portion and the clamping elastic piece are disposed on the installation body. The installation body is configured to be detachably connected to the housing. A first clamping gap capable of accommodating the installation frame is provided between the blocking portion and the clamping elastic piece.
Systems and methods for transceiver connector protection
An information handling resource may include a housing configured to house electronic components, a connector configured to communicatively couple a cable to the electronic components, the connector configured to couple to the cable via a connector opening of the housing, and a connector cover rotatably coupled to the housing proximate to the connector opening and configured to rotate between a closed position in which the connector cover substantially covers the connector opening in order to obstruct contaminants entering the connector opening from an exterior of the housing and an open position allowing the cable to be inserted into the connector opening.

A lid is hingly coupled to a front surface of the base. A securing device attaches the base over the electrical cover plate.
