Aerosol provision system with integrated charger
The present disclosure is directed to the concept of integrating a charger with an electronic aerosol provision device into a single unit, so as to eliminate the need for a user to carry or stow charging cables, adaptors, and/or docks. In various implementations, the device utilizes a standard USB plug that is permanently attached to the device body and fully integrated with the charging circuitry. In some implementations, the plug may extend from an end of the device or be deployed from a side wall of the device and/or from the mouthpiece end of the device. The charger may be covered or otherwise hidden when the device is not charging.
POWER CONNECTOR SYSTEM
A supply charging device for a mobile device includes a supply power connector having a supply housing having a mating end at the front mated with a receive power connector of the mobile device along a mating axis. The supply power connector has a cable end at the bottom. A supply contact chamber is at the mating end and a supply cable chamber is at the cable end. The supply power connector includes supply power contacts and a data communication module at the mating end. The supply charging device includes a cable assembly extending from the cable end at the bottom of the supply housing. The supply power cables extend along cable axes oriented non-parallel to the mating axis.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR INSULATING TERMINALS OF AN ELECTRICAL DEVICE
Apparatus for opposed terminals of an electrical device includes magnetic material carried by a cover formed of an electrically insulative material and concurrently covering the terminals, and a magnetic attraction between the magnetic material and the terminals magnetically coupling the cover to the terminals. In another embodiment, the apparatus includes covers formed of an electrically insulative material and connected by hinges to the electrical device for movement between open positions away from the terminals and closed positions covering the respective terminals.
Terminal assembly for conductor rod having multiple degrees of freedom
A work machine, such as a hauler at a mining site, includes a conductor rod housing concentric metal tubes for receiving multiple poles of electrical power from a contactor sliding on a power rail. A terminal assembly includes conductive extensions from the respective metal tubes that are arranged concentrically and rotatably around an axis orthogonal with the conductor rod, rotatable metal pins positioned transversely to the axis, and conductive arms connected through hinge joints to respective ones of the rotatable metal pins. When the conductive arms are connected to rotatable and hinged joints at the contactor, the terminal assembly provides multiple degrees of freedom for the conductor rod relative to the contactor and avoids detachment of the contactor from the power rail.
CONNECTOR AND HOUSING USED IN THE SAME
A terminal-accommodation portion of a housing pierces a terminal-holding portion in a front-rear direction. A recess portion pierces the terminal-holding portion in a width direction and is opened upward. The recess portion communicates with the terminal-accommodation portions through an aperture formed in a bottom portion thereof. A latched portion of the terminal-accommodation portion protrudes in the recess portion. A protrusion portion of a retainer is provided with a latching portion and a retaining portion. When the protrusion portion is accommodated in the recess portion, the protrusion portion is positioned upward of the bottom portion of the recess portion. The latching portion is positioned downward of the latched portion. The retaining portion is positioned rearward of and faces a retained portion of a terminal.
Electrical device having a seal assembly
An electrical device includes a housing having a mating end and a wire end. One or more contacts attach to the housing proximate the mating end. One or more conductor wires extending from the wire end and connect to the one or more contacts. A seal assembly connects to the housing proximate the wire end. The seal assembly is configured for movement between an opened position and a closed position. The seal assembly has an upper seal and a lower seal configured to mate along an interface in the closed position to limit the ingress of one or more environmental elements into the electrical device.
COMPONENT, POSITIONING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR FASTENING THE COMPONENT BY SOLDERING
A component having electrical connector elements for making contact with a circuit board, optionally having additional securing elements for mechanical stability after soldering or positioning devices for supporting components with an unfavourable center of gravity or supporting elements which can optionally be removed after the soldering process. The positioning devices or supporting elements serve to position components with different forms on a circuit board and to keep them in the correct orientation for the soldering process. Fitting takes place in a force-free manner and thus favours automation and the use of for example pick-and-place robots which take hold of and move the particular component via the positioning device connected thereto, engaging with and/or around either a contact element or a supporting element. The support of the positioning device allows a stable state during the soldering process. In a corresponding manner, methods for carrying out the soldering processes are specified.
Individualized split-type tool-free convenient intelligent information plug
Disclosed is an individualized split-type tool-free convenient intelligent information plug. A slot (2) is provided in the middle of the plug (1). An elastic sheet (3), a circuit board (4) and a cover board (5) are sequentially arranged on the slot (2). Metal contact pieces (6) are arranged on the cover board (5). Contact pins (7) extend downwardly from the lower ends of the metal contact pieces (6). The circuit board (4) is provided with through holes (8) for the insertion of the contact pins (7). An upper cover shell (9) and a lower cover shell (10) are arranged at the tail end of the plug (1). The plug (1) further comprises a cable insertion module (11). The front end of the cable insertion module (11) is provided with an insertion slot for the insertion of the circuit board (4), and the upper end surface and lower end surface of the cable insertion module (11) are provided with grooves (13) for the placement of cable conductors. Metal connecting parts (14) are arranged in the grooves (13). The upper ends of the metal connecting parts (14) are provided with cutting notches (14-1), and the lower ends of the metal connecting parts (14) extend into the insertion slot of the cable insertion module (11) so as to be in contact with the circuit board (4). The plug is convenient to assemble, can be re-used, has a high interference resistance, can be upgraded, and meets the operating requirements of higher standards such as category 6 and augmented category 6. If some of the parts, such as the elastic sheet, are damaged, the parts can simply be dismounted and replaced, and the operation is extremely convenient and practical.
Electrical connector having protruding portions on metal shell
An electrical connector includes an insulating body having a base and a tongue extending forward from the base, multiple terminals fixed in the base and extending to the tongue, and a metal shell. An insertion space is formed between the metal shell and the tongue. The metal shell has first protruding portions protruding toward the insertion space. Each first protruding portion has a first height along the vertical direction. The first height is greater than or equal to 0.02 mm and less than or equal to 0.08 mm. Thus, the corresponding fit clearance in the vertical direction between the electrical connector and a mating connector can be controlled within a range from 0.059 mm to 0.001 mm.
Field termination network plug
A field termination plug includes a contact retainer, a plug housing, a terminal connection unit, and a cover pivotally connectable to the plug housing. The plug housing includes a front portion and an accommodation portion. The terminal connection unit has contacts and piercing terminals electrically coupled to the respective contacts. When the plug housing carries the terminal connection unit and the contact retainer is attached to the front portion, the contacts are disposed on the front portion for electrical coupling to a network jack and the piercing terminals are disposed upward on the accommodation portion. When the cover is pivoted to an open position, the piercing terminals are exposed for disposition of a wire organizer for attachment of the wires. The cover pivoted to a closed position presses the wire organizer such that the wires attached to the wire organizer are terminated to the respective piercing terminals.
