SPRING CLIP AND CONNECTOR FOR A FLAT FLEXIBLE CABLE
A spring clip includes a first beam and a second beam connected to the first beam and resiliently deflectable toward the first beam from a relaxed position distal from the first beam to a compressed position proximal to the first beam. The second beam has a spring latch extending toward the first beam. The spring latch engages the first beam to secure the second beam in the compressed position.
Oscillation suppressing connector housing as well as electrical plug connector and electrical plug connection with such a connector housing
A connector housing for an electrical plug connector includes a cable duct and an oscillation suppressor pivotable about a pivot axis into the cable duct. The cable duct receives an electrical cable of a predefined outer diameter along a plug-in direction. The cable duct in a cross section perpendicular to the plug-in direction has a clear dimension in a pivoted state of the oscillation suppressor in the cable duct equal to or less than the predefined outer diameter of the electrical cable.
Cable Protection Cover for Increasing Pull-Out Resistance
A cable protection cover includes a housing attachment section securing the cable protection cover to a housing of an electrical device and receiving an electric connector attached to the housing. The housing attachment section has a connector lock with a locking member restraining the electric connector in a pull-out direction in a position in which the electric connector is attached to the housing.
Electrode Connector Structure And Cable Assembly
A connector assembly for coupling with one or more electrodes includes one or more cables with wires. A plug is electrically coupled with an end or ends of the cables. An electrode connector structure is electrically coupled with the cables and includes a body that is configured for forming an internal space. A cantilevered first arm has an end that cantilevers toward the internal space. The cantilevered first arm has a rest position and a flexed position. A stationary second arm and arm end extend into the internal space opposite the first arm. At least one of the ends of the cantilevered first arm and stationary second arm include an electrical contact. In the rest position, the end of the cantilevered first arm is positioned opposite the stationary second arm a first distance. In the flexed position, the cantilevered arm, moves away from the stationary second arm to separate the ends to a greater distance to receive the electrode and returns to the rest position to grip the electrode.
Housing and connector
A housing includes: a housing body on which a portion for abutment is formed; an assembly that is detachably assembled to the housing body; and a hinge with which the assembly is mounted on the housing body. The hinge includes (i) a connection that is arranged between the housing body and the assembly, and on which an abutment is formed, (ii) a first joint that is disposed between the housing body and the connection, and has flexibility, and (iii) a second joint that is disposed between the assembly and the connection, and has flexibility. The abutment formed on the connection is allowed to abut on the portion for abutment of the housing body by bending the first joint, and the assembly is assembled to the housing body by bending the second joint in a state in which the first joint is bent.
Component, positioning device and method for fastening the component by soldering
A component having electrical connector elements for making contact with a circuit board, optionally having additional securing elements for mechanical stability after soldering or positioning devices for supporting components with an unfavourable center of gravity or supporting elements which can optionally be removed after the soldering process. The positioning devices or supporting elements serve to position components with different forms on a circuit board and to keep them in the correct orientation for the soldering process. Fitting takes place in a force-free manner and thus favours automation and the use of for example pick-and-place robots which take hold of and move the particular component via the positioning device connected thereto, engaging with and/or around either a contact element or a supporting element. The support of the positioning device allows a stable state during the soldering process. In a corresponding manner, methods for carrying out the soldering processes are specified.
STRAIN RELIEF DEVICE FOR ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS
A terminal assembly includes a connector housing having an opening at a first end for receiving a cable and a strain relief device. The opening of the connector housing is defined by an inner surface. The strain relief device includes an annular base and a cylindrical portion extending from the annular base, wherein the cylindrical portion has an inner surface having a diameter selected to surround the cable and an outer surface having an outer diameter configured to fit within the opening of the connector housing.
CHARGING CABLE FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLES
A charging plug and a charging cable for electric vehicles, as well as a method for using the charging cable, are provided.
CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY AND ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR
A plug connector includes a signal contact conductor to which an internal conductor of a coaxial cable is connected, a ground contact conductor to which an external conductor of the coaxial cable is connected, and an insulating housing that insulates the signal contact conductor from the ground contact conductor. The insulating housing includes an insulating main body in which the signal contact conductor is held and a protrusion that protrudes from a peripheral surface of the insulating main body in a radially outward direction of the insulating main body. The protrusion includes a base portion on which an insulator and the external conductor of the coaxial cable are placed and a pair of walls that are erected on the base portion and are disposed to interpose at least a tip of the external conductor therebetween.
Plug assemblies
Plug assemblies and related kits and techniques for using the same are disclosed herein. In one non-limiting aspect, a plug assembly protects an existing plug of a cord and facilitates replacement of a second plug that is engageable with the existing plug in the event the second plug is damaged. In one embodiment, an assembly includes a first plug member with male and female end portions, and a retaining element configured to engage with the first plug member and at least a portion of a cord that includes a second plug member configured to engage with the first plug member. When the retaining element is engaged with the first plug member, one of the female end portion and the male end portion of the first plug member is accessible for engagement with a third plug member. Additional and/or alternative embodiments, forms, features and aspects are disclosed herein.
