FIELD TERMINABLE TELECOMMUNICATIONS CONNECTOR

A connector includes a modular connector including: a connector body; a substrate positioned in the connector body; wire termination contacts electrically coupled to the substrate; connector contacts electrically coupled to the substrate; the substrate including traces that electrically connect each of the wire contacts to a respective one of the connector contacts; a lacing cap subassembly including: a lacing cap having a plurality of wire receiving slots; a lacing cap body coupled to the lacing cap; a lacing cap door hingedly coupled to the lacing cap body, the lacing cap door moveable between an open and closed position.

HEADPHONE OR EARPHONE ASSEMBLY HAVING A PIVOTABLE USB CHARGING CONNECTOR INTEGRATED INTO A HOUSING THEREOF

Wireless earphones or headphones include a control unit having a housing which contains electronic circuitry, and exposed push button switches mounted on the housing. The control unit has a pivotable and foldable male connector plug in the form of a micro or mini USB connector. The plug may be pivoted outwardly, away from the control unit, and unfolded to conform to the shape of a standard micro or mini USB plug. The advantage of such a design is that there are no extra cables required for charging internal battery of the earphones or headphones. Rather, the male connector of the control unit, which is exposed when pivoted away from the control unit and useable when unfolded, may be plugged directly into a laptop computer or other source of power having a compatible micro or mini USB female connector, without the need for a cable extending between the two devices.

Midboard cable terminology assembly

A cable termination assembly configured for mounting to an interior portion of a printed circuit board. The cable termination assembly has a frame shaped to receive a paddle card to which a plurality of cables are terminated. A lid, when closed, may force the paddle card into contact with an interposer, which in turn may be pressed into a printed circuit board on which the cable termination assembly is mounted. Electrical signals may pass between the cables and traces in the printed circuit board via the paddle card and interposer. The termination assembly may be mounted near a processor or other high speed component on the printed circuit board, enabling high speed signals to be coupled with low loss between a periphery of the printed circuit board, or even a location off the printed circuit board, and the high speed component.

CONFIGURABLE SAFETY GROUND TERMINALS FOR INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS

A safety ground terminal apparatus can include a ground terminal operable to switch between a common ground connection or a isolated ground connection, wherein the ground terminal comprises a hinge point that is connectable to a base of a housing via a rail in an arrangement that allows for a disconnection from the common ground connection when the isolated ground connection is required and without compromising electrical contact. The ground terminal can provide a watertight ground connection irrespective of the type of ground connection requirement. The common ground connection or the isolated ground connection can be achieved without any additional parts assembled.

Connector assembly with connector lock and terminal retainer

A connector assembly includes a connector body, a terminal retainer configured to retain a terminal within the connector body when the terminal retainer is in a fully staged position, and a connector lock configured to secure the connector body to a corresponding mating connector assembly. The terminal retainer moves from a pre-staged position to the fully staged position as the connector body is mated with the corresponding mating connector assembly.

Cable Pull Tab

Various embodiments include a connector head assembly for an electrical cable attached to one or more receptacle connectors. The connector head assembly may include an elongate overmold having a longitudinal extent that is longer than a height or width thereof. The elongate overmold may be configured to encase a terminal end of the electrical cable coupled to the one or more receptacle connectors inside the elongate overmold. The connector head assembly may also include a pull tab pivotally attached to the elongate overmold on an upper surface thereof. A pulling force applied to the pull tab may be configured to separate the receptacle connector from a receptacle in which the receptacle connector is configured to be held.

Connection device and method for an electronic housing for connecting a conductor, particularly a shield conductor

An electronics housing includes: a housing body; and a printed circuit board. The housing body has a connecting device for connecting a conductor, in particular a shield conductor, of a cable to the printed circuit board. The connecting device has a receiving body in which a receiving space with an opening for the conductor is formed. A cover for the opening is provided and is movable between an open position, in which the cover opens the opening for inserting an uninsulated conductor section of the conductor into the receiving space, and a closed position, in which the cover closes the opening at least in sections. The receiving body of the connecting device is disposed such that the printed circuit board is arrangeable with at least one contact section in the receiving space, and, in a closed position, the cover presses the uninsulated conductor section.

ELECTRICAL EXTENSION CORD DEVICE

An electrical extension cord device having an electrical port at one end and an electrical connector at an opposite end. The electrical port can include a cap or cover removable connected to the electrical port having an electrical plug or receptacle. The cap or cover and the electrical port have cooperating sealing surfaces to ensure watertight or waterproof sealing when the cap or cover is installed “on” the electrical port to prevent water or moisture reaching the plug.

[Problem] To allow a plurality of connection terminals to be reliably arranged in a storage case, and the storage case to be placed into a housing.

[Means for Resolution] A storage case 1 has a storage portion 2 in which female connection terminals T including connection portions at front ends are arranged in parallel along storage grooves 2d, and a cover 3 that covers the storage portion 2, and tubular temporarily storing portions 2i for inserting tips of connection portions Ta of the female connection terminals T for temporary storage are provided at the fronts of the respective storage grooves 2d.

Aerosol provision system with integrated charger

The present disclosure is directed to the concept of integrating a charger with an electronic aerosol provision device into a single unit, so as to eliminate the need for a user to carry or stow charging cables, adaptors, and/or docks. In various implementations, the device utilizes a standard USB plug that is permanently attached to the device body and fully integrated with the charging circuitry. In some implementations, the plug may extend from an end of the device or be deployed from a side wall of the device and/or from the mouthpiece end of the device. The charger may be covered or otherwise hidden when the device is not charging.
