Electrical connector with CPA
Electrical connector with low profile connector position assurance (CPA) member for assuring the engagement of a female housing with a male housing. The female housing forms apertures designed to stably and securely receive the low profile CPA member. Also, the female housing includes a connector latch used to securely hold together the female housing and the male housing.
Bidirectional double-sided electrical connector
A bidirectional double-sided electrical connector includes a tongue and two rows of elastically movable connection points disposed on top and bottom sides of the tongue, wherein the tongue and the elastically movable connection points can respectively act independently. Two rows of contact terminals provide the two rows of elastically movable connection points and are positioned on an insulation seat. The tongue is vertically and floatingly movable relative to the insulation seat. The elastically movable connection points are respectively floatingly disposed on, lie on or are embedded with the top and bottom sides of the tongue.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR WITH VIBRATION DAMPENER
An electrical connector assembly includes an electrical terminal attached to a wire cable, a connector housing defining a cavity in which the electrical terminal is disposed, and a resilient damping element disposed intermediate the electrical terminal and an inner wall of the cavity. The damping element is configured to reduce the amplitude and/or change the frequency of vibratory mechanical energy transmitted to the electrical terminal in the electrical connector through the wire electrical cable attached to the terminal.
RUGGEDIZED CONNECTOR SYSTEM
An electrical interconnection system with an adapter mounted in an opening within a connector interface of a panel of an electronic enclosure is described. A sealing member may be used to prevent passage of foreign matter, such as liquid, gas or dust particles into the enclosure and into the mating region between the adapter and a mating plug connector. The sealing member may comprise a base and a sidewall configured to wrap around an outer border of the adapter. The sealing member may be configured to form a first sealing interface with the panel, and a second sealing interface with the plug connector. The first and second sealing interfaces may be orthogonal to each other. The sealing member may be made of an elastic material.
CONNECTOR
It is aimed to provide a connector capable of ensuring good sealing. A connector (10) includes a female housing (20) having a female-side sealing surface (22), a male housing (30) having a receptacle (62) into which the female housing (20) is fit, a sealing ring (40) disposed in the receptacle (62) and to be held in close contact with the sealing surface (40) when the female housing (20) and the male housing (30) are connected, and a protecting member (50) mounted on the female housing (20) to cover the female-side sealing surface (22).
Electric plug with elastic press-on elements
An electric plug comprises an outer housing, an inner housing adapted to be plugged into the outer housing along an assembly direction, and a press-on element. The press-on element is adapted to be deflected elastically transversely to the assembly direction and produces a press-fit connection between the inner housing and the outer housing.
SUBSEA HIGH VOLTAGE CONNECTION ASSEMBLY
A subsea HV connection assembly comprising a male part (101) with an axially movable male pin (106) with a electric contact face. The male pin is supported in a support (103). A female part (1) has a female contact face (25), a female housing (5) and a male pin receiving aperture (7). The female housing (5) or the support (103) is flexibly supported to a support section (15, 115) over a flexible support arrangement (9). The flexible support arrangement (9) comprises a pivoting member (11) with an outer pivot face (14) in sliding engagement with an inner pivot face (16), wherein the pivot faces have the shape of a section of a concentric sphere, wherein the pivoting member (11) is configured to pivot with respect to the inner pivot face (16) about a pivotal point (24).
Universal serial bus connector
A universal serial bus connector includes an insulating housing, a terminal module and an outer shell. The insulating housing has a base body which opens an accommodating space. A rear wall of the accommodating space protrudes frontward to form a tongue portion. The tongue portion opens a receiving space. The terminal module is received in the receiving space. The terminal module includes a main body, and a plurality of terminals molded in the main body. Each terminal has a base portion, a contact portion connected with a front end of the base portion, and a soldering portion connected with a rear end of the base portion. The contact portion and the soldering portion of each terminal are disposed to two opposite ends of the insulating housing. The base portion of each terminal is mounted in the main body. The outer shell is assembled to the insulating housing.
Movable connector
Occurrence of contact point slide due to vibration is suppressed in a movable connector that has a floating function from a technical approach that is different from the related art. A movable connector includes a displacement support member that includes a flexible support portion that is elastically deformable in a fitting direction, in which a mating connector is to be fitted with a movable housing, with the flexible support portion abutting against the movable housing. The movable housing includes a bottom wall, against which the mating connector abuts in the fitting direction. The movable housing is displaced in the fitting direction with the flexible support portion elastically deformed in the fitting direction when the mating connector presses the bottom wall in the fitting direction.
Connector with responsive inner diameter
A coaxial cable connector includes an outer barrel having a front end and a rear end. The connector includes an inner sleeve within the outer barrel defining a bore, the inner sleeve moving between uncompressed and compressed conditions and including a finger which is formed in the inner sleeve for resilient movement between a neutral position in which the finger is out of the bore, and a deformed position in which the finger is deformed into the bore. The finger includes a base formed to the inner sleeve and a free end. Axial movement of the inner sleeve with respect to the outer barrel from a compressed condition to an uncompressed condition imparts movement to the finger from the neutral position to the deformed position.
