Plug connector with damping element

A high current connector, having an inner conductor contact for carrying current, an outer conductor part, and an isolator part which keeps the inner conductor contact spaced apart from the outer conductor part, wherein a resiliently compressible damping element is provided on the connector in such a way that, when a complementary counterpart connector is inserted into the connector, the element is resiliently compressible in an insertion direction and the mobility of the isolator part is reduced with respect to the inner conductor contact and/or with respect to the outer conductor part. This feature is used to eliminate play between the affected parts to lessen material wear.

Each of the at least one ground terminal has an extending portion, and the extending portion extends away from the middle shielding sheet and abuts the metal shell.

Electrical connector assembly

An electrical connector assembly for airbag restraint systems comprising a first connector, comprising an elongated housing aligned along a longitudinal axis, a first connector's connection face facing perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, along a mating axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, said first connector comprising first locking means to lock the first connector to a second connector and second locking means that prevent the first locking means from releasing, the connector assembly further comprising the second connector, comprising a second connector's connection face surrounded at least partly by a shroud, facing along the mating axis towards the first connector's connection face. The shroud comprises third locking means that cooperate with the first locking means to lock the first connector to the second connector when mated along the mating axis. The extension of the mated connector assembly, along the mating axis, is smaller than the extension along the longitudinal axis and also smaller than the extension along a transverse axis arranged perpendicular to the longitudinal axis and the mating axis.

Probe for ultrasonic imaging apparatus and method for manufacturing the same
10265051 · 2019-04-23 · ·

A probe of an ultrasonic imaging apparatus and a method for manufacturing the same are disclosed. The probe for an ultrasonic imaging apparatus includes a piezoelectric unit including a piezoelectric substance and an electrode; a printed circuit board (PCB) unit having a printed circuit board (PCB), configured to be formed at a lateral surface of the piezoelectric unit; a matching layer formed at front surfaces of the piezoelectric unit and the PCB unit; and a backing layer formed at a back surface of the piezoelectric unit and the PCB unit. The probe and a method for manufacturing the probe can reduce a variation of ultrasonic acoustic characteristics caused by a printed circuit board (PCB) because the PCB is not arranged among a piezoelectric substance, a matching layer, and a backing layer. A PCB is provided at a lateral surface of the piezoelectric substance, so that strength against impact can be increased either during channel division based on dicing or during the usage time of a probe. In addition, a single crystal (monocrystal) may be used as a piezoelectric substance or the like, such that a probe having a large bandwidth can be formed, and low-frequency ultrasonic signals and high-frequency ultrasonic signals can be transmitted and received. In addition, the probe and the method for manufacturing the same can easily perform channel division of the acoustic module, and make the divided acoustic module using a curvature, and thus can be applied to various technical fields without being limited to the shapes of probes.

An electrical interconnection system with an adapter mounted in an opening within a connector interface of a panel of an electronic enclosure is described. A sealing member may be used to prevent passage of foreign matter, such as liquid, gas or dust particles into the enclosure and into the mating region between the adapter and a mating plug connector. The sealing member may comprise a base and a sidewall configured to wrap around an outer border of the adapter. The sealing member may be configured to form a first sealing interface with the panel, and a second sealing interface with the plug connector. The first and second sealing interfaces may be orthogonal to each other. The sealing member may be made of an elastic material.
