I/O connector configured for cabled connection to the midboard

An I/O connector assembly configured for making a cabled connection to an interior portion of a printed circuit board for at least some signals passing through the I/O connector. The I/O connector assembly may be assembled by mounting a cage to a printed circuit board. A receptacle connector, including cables extending from a rear of the connector, may be inserted through an opening in the top or rear of the cage. The receptacle connector may be positioned in the cage by at least one retention member on the cage. A plug, mating to the receptacle connector, also may be positioned by a retention member on the cage. Positioning both the plug and receptacle relative to the cage reduces the tolerance stackup of the assembly and enables the connectors to be designed with shorter wipe length, which enables higher frequency operation.

A connector 10 is provided with: a connector housing 11 having formed therein first cavities 16 extending in a front-back direction; first terminals 12 accommodated inside the first cavities 16; a front mask 13 attached to a front end part of the connector housing 11; and a lid member 14 attached to an upper surface of the connector housing 11. The connector 10 is configured such that the front mask 13 is attached to the connector housing 11 from above, the lid member 14 covers at least a portion of an upper surface of the front mask 13, the front mask 13 has front cavities 35 extending in the front-back direction, and front end parts of the first terminals 12 are accommodated inside the front cavities 35.

Insulation Displacement Connector with Modular Structure for Fast IDC Connection

An insulation displacement contact (IDC) cluster includes a plurality of IDC cluster modular units each having a plurality of receptacles adjacent to one another in a row. Each of the receptacles receives an IDC terminal. A first IDC cluster modular unit of the IDC cluster modular units is coupled to a second IDC cluster modular unit of the IDC cluster modular units to form a modular structure by stacking and fastening together, arranging the receptacles of the IDC cluster modular units in parallel rows.

UNIDIRECTIONAL FREE-PULLING DATA CABLE

The present disclosure relates to the technical field of data cables, more particularly to a unidirectional free-pulling data cable that includes a first wire, a second wire and a hollow housing in which a wheel core, a follow-up circuit board, a clamping assembly, and a fixed conductive board disposed on one side of the housing corresponding to and electrically connected to the follow-up circuit board are arranged. The wheel core, with an elastic member disposed therein and a wheel cover disposed at the opposite side thereof, rotates relative to the housing. The first and second wires are exposed out of the housing partially. The clamping assembly cooperates with the wheel cover to position the wheel core to limit the rotation thereof, which solves the problem that the input and output ends of the existing telescopic data cable need to be stretched simultaneously when using, and is more convenient to use.
