Connector
A connector includes a terminal fitting, a housing, a front holder to which an engagement part of the housing is inserted along an inserting direction of the engagement part with respect to a counterpart engagement part, and a water-stopping member with an annular shape that closes an annular space between a projection part from the front holder at an outer peripheral wall surface of the engagement part and an inner peripheral wall surface of the counterpart engagement part. The front holder includes a retained part that projects toward the outer peripheral wall surface of the engagement part. The water-stopping member includes a retained part that projects inward relative to an inner peripheral surface. The engagement part includes a communication retaining part where a first retaining part and a second retaining part are provided in a communicating state.
Charging Socket Provided with a Dual-Functional Feature for Drainage and Fixing Functions
A charging socket includes a housing formed of an electrically insulating material, a cavity in the housing receiving an electrical contact, and a dual-functional element partially protruding from an outer surface of the housing. The dual-functional element has a fixing component and a drainage component. The fixing component protrudes from the housing and fixes the housing to a mounting bracket. The drainage component has a drainage channel within the housing discharging fluids from the charging socket.
COMPACT ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR
A receptacle connector includes a metal housing configured to prevent backwards insertion of a plug. The receptacle connector has walls bounding an assembly space with an insulative body therein. One wall is distant from an exterior surface of the insulative body to form an abutting groove between the metal housing and the insulative body. The abutting groove is configured to receive an abutting wall of the plug connector. The insulative body includes mating interface configured to receive a terminal portion of a plug connector. A wall of the metal housing opposite the abutting groove is adjacent a surface of the insulative body has a projection. If a user attempts to insert the plug with the terminal portion backwards, the projection interferes with the abutting wall, preventing backwards insertion of the terminal portion of the plug into the mating interface.
Field terminable ethernet connector with integral termination cap
A connector has a plug housing and a termination cap housing assembly pivotably attached to the plug housing. The termination cap housing assembly has a pair of contacts secured thereto such that pivoting the termination cap housing assembly to the plug housing terminates the contacts to a pair of wires inserted into the plug housing.
Dual Connector With Spring And Insulation Displacement Connection (IDC) Terminals
An electrical connector for grounding a multicore cable having a shield includes a spring terminal engaging the shield and an insulation displacement connection (IDC) terminal terminating a ground wire. The shield is grounded through the electrical connector.
Method for assembling an elastomer seal spring in a connector assembly
The seal spring of the present invention has a dual functionality. The seal spring provides both a sealing property and spring function in use within an electrical connector system, which is accomplished by its elastomeric qualities. The seal spring is preferably comprised of Silicone, EPDM rubber or materials and compositions that provide similar performance during use, or the like. The seal spring of the present invention is not limited or defined into a spring section or a seal section by its geometry. Shown is an implementation of the seal spring within an outer housing and connector assembly. The seal spring compresses and provides adequate spring force against a tab or tabs within the outer housing. The seal spring also functions as an interface seal and an environmental seal during use. The seal spring is, substantially, in its entirety, of a contiguous and continuous single construction. No part or section of the seal spring is made up of welded, soldered, or brazen part or section.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR WITH COMPRESSION MOUNTING CLIPS
An electrical connector has a housing with a front surface, a rear surface, and side surfaces. A first wall extends between the front surface, the rear surface and the side surfaces. A second wall extends between the front surface, the rear surface and the side surfaces, the second wall having a radiused reference surface. An alignment projection extends from the radiused reference surface in a direction away from the first wall. Compression clips extend from the side surfaces. The compression clips have bases, beams and a latching projections, with the beams extending at angles relative to the side surfaces.

ELECTRIC WIRE COVER
An electric wire cover includes halved covers in a pair mounted to a connector having at least one electric wire drawn rearward, and an electric wire protector. The respective halved covers have electric wire insertion portions through which the drawn electric wire is inserted. The electric wire protector is elastically recoilable in an insertion direction of the electric wire and retained in the electric wire insertion portions of the halved covers. The respective halved covers include regulators in the electric wire insertion portions. The regulators are configured to come in partial contact with an opening edge of the electric wire protector at which the electric wire is exposed, and regulate a position of the electric wire protector.
HEADER POWER CONNECTOR
A header power connector includes a header housing assembly including an inner housing received in a cavity of an outer housing. The inner housing has upper and lower openings open to a terminal cavity configured to receive busbars. The inner housing is movable relative to the outer housing to accommodate misalignment of the busbars in the terminal cavity. A terminal is received in the terminal cavity having a terminal base, an upper mating end and a lower mating end. The upper mating end includes an upper socket flanked by upper spring beams that receives the first busbar and the lower mating end includes a lower socket flanked by lower spring beams that receives the second busbar. The terminal is movable in the terminal cavity to accommodate misalignment of the first busbar and the second busbar in the terminal cavity.
