Electrical Plug-In Connection, Vehicle and Method for Locking an Electrical Plug-In Connection
The invention relates to an electrical plug-in connection, comprising an electrical connector and a mating electrical connector, which can be connected to the electrical connector. The mating electrical connector has an actuating element, which can be moved between a home position (P.sub.0) and a locking position (P.sub.1) and is designed to cooperate with a guiding element of the electrical connector in such a way that the plug-in connection, proceeding from a pre-latching position, assumes a locked position when the actuation element is moved from the home position (P.sub.0) into the locking position (P.sub.1). The electrical connector has a toothing and the mating electrical connector has a mating toothing, which corresponds to the toothing of the electrical connector, the toothing and the mating toothing mesh with one another in the locked position of the plug-in connection.
Connector
A connector includes a back housing, a front shell having a barrel portion and a grounding portion continuous with a rear portion of the barrel portion, and a cover shell. The cover shell has a contacting portion contacting a rear end upper portion of the front shell, a catching portion catching on the grounding portion, and a spring portion elastically deformed by catching of the catching portion. The elastic deformation of the spring portion causes the cover shell to contact the back housing while pressing the back housing frontward, and to contact the front shell while pressing the rear end upper portion of the front shell upward at the contacting portion.

CONNECTOR
In an example embodiment, a connector includes a male base and a female base. The male base is inserted with a male end pin and a first connection member. The female base is detachably connected to the male base. The female base is inserted with a female end pin and a second connection member. After the female base is connected to the male base, the male end pin is connected to the female end pin, and the second connection member attracts the first connection member.

Housing assembly for a connector, method for releasing a connection between a connector and a mating connector
A housing assembly for a connector includes a securing mechanism for securing the connector to a mating connector in a securing position, and a locking mechanism. The locking mechanism in a locking position locks the securing mechanism in the securing position. The locking mechanism is latchable in a holding position in which the securing mechanism can be moved out of the securing position.

Electrical connector assembly including a rear insulative body having upper and lower wire receiving slots and a pair of metallic shields having engagement tabs
An electrical connector assembly includes a contact module having an upper part and a lower part stacked with each other. The upper part includes a front/outer upper unit and a rear/inner upper unit and the lower part includes a front/outer lower unit and a rear/inner lower unit. Each unit includes an insulative body and a plurality of contacts integrally formed with the insulative body via an insert-molding process. The insulative body includes a middle sector and a pair of side sectors. The contacts include side-band contacts retained in the middle sector and differential-pair contacts retained in the side sectors.
