The electronic device includes a connector that includes a connector housing that closes an opening portion of a housing accommodating a circuit board and holds a connection terminal enabling electric connection of the circuit board to an external connector and a communication hole that penetrates the connector housing and allows an internal space and an external space of the housing to communicate with each other, and a filter attached to the connector housing to cover a first opening that opens in the communication hole on an internal space side of the housing. The connector housing has a shielding wall surrounding the periphery of the second opening of the communication hole that opens to the external space side of the housing and protrudes toward the external space side of the housing from the second opening of the communication hole.

A connector includes a housing having a plurality of cavities, a seal member having a plurality of seal holes, a rear holder that holds the seal member between the housing and the rear holder, and a terminal fitting that is inserted into the cavity through the seal hole. A sealing installation device for hermetically mounting a housing to a panel includes an elastic sealing washer and a connection member. The elastic sealing washer is disposed between a base of the housing and the panel and seals a mating interface between the base and the panel. The elastic sealing washer has a through slot into which a protrusion formed on a bottom surface of the base is inserted. A thickness of the elastic sealing washer is greater than a height of the protrusion. The connection member connects the base of the housing, the elastic sealing washer, and the panel together. A difference between the thickness of the elastic sealing washer and the height of the protrusion is a predetermined value equal to a compression amount of the elastic sealing washer after the housing is installed on the panel.

A plug assembly for an electrical plug extending through a wall includes a first housing part having a contact chamber receiving an electrical contact, a second housing part having a receptacle in which the first housing part is received, and a base plate fastening the plug assembly to the wall.
