The electrical floor box includes a surface plate oriented parallel to a floor surface. The surface plate includes an aperture. The electrical floor box also includes an electrical connector positioned in the aperture of the surface plate. The electrical connector includes a connector terminal that is configured to engage the cable terminal to provide an electrical connection therebetween. The electrical floor box further includes a sealing member positioned between the electrical connector and the aperture of the surface plate. The sealing member is configured to engage a portion of the electrical cable to provide a water-tight seal between the electrical cable and the connector terminal while the electrical cable is coupled to the electrical connector.

A connector assembly comprises a resilient primary lock for securing a wire terminal with a housing, a primary lock reinforcement (PLR) device, and a PLR actuator for moving the PLR device between pre- and fully-staged configurations. The PLR device is configured to move in response to contact by the PLR actuator as the housing components are mated together. The PLR actuator includes an elongated, tapered finger that wedges against the PLR device during housing mating. A method of reinforcing a primary lock of a connector assembly is also described.

The plug connector comprises a plug with a plug casing, one or more electrical contact parts accommodated in the plug casing, a socket with a socket casing, and a protective housing at least partly encasing the plug casing and the socket casing. The protective housing comprises an attachment flange in a connection area reaching up to a counterpart connectable thereto. An engagement ridge of the protective housing is spaced apart from the attachment flange in the longitudinal direction L of the plug connector and at least positively engages in an engagement channel of the plug casing.

A connector plug comprises a hook with flexible edges. The hook has a first beveled surface and a second flat surface. A stopper is coupled to the flat surface of the hook by a first barrel portion of the connector plug. The stopper is coupled to a plurality of ridges with flexible edges by a second barrel portion. The plurality of ridges are also coupled to each other by the second barrel portion. A via extends through the connector plug from one end of the connector plug to the other end of the connector plug.

The pin housing surrounds the stripped ends of the conductors. The sealing element is disposed between the coupling ring and the pin housing. The conductors are formed of a solid and coated steel wire and the stripped ends of the conductors are useable as pin contacts.

The down conductor connector comprises first and second terminals, connected to an end of each down conductor part, respectively, where the first and second terminals are adapted for mutual connection.

Rubber plug

A rubber plug has a tubular sealing function portion that allows an electric wire to pass through the tubular sealing function portion and a tubular low-rigidity portion that allows the electric wire to pass through the low-rigidity portion. The sealing function portion exhibits sealing performance by elastically coming into close contact with the inner peripheral surface of the terminal accommodating chamber and the outer peripheral surface of the electric wire. The low-rigidity portion has a lower rigidity than the sealing function portion, and is arranged rearward of the sealing function portion.
