Load-bearing connector connection
A load-bearing connector connection includes two half-flanges encapsulated in a coupling body extending from a first end to a second end. The two assembled half-flanges cover the end of a cable having a plurality of plugs and a helical armor. The two half-flanges include on the inner face thereof a part of the threading engaging with the threading of the helical armor. A locking ring is positioned at the level of a plug housing adjacent to the first end of the coupling body. The coupling body is screwed to the plug housing. The second end of the coupling body is adjacent to a coupling nut. The coupling nut traverses the cable and is assembled with the coupling body by screwing.
CONNECTOR PROTECTIVE KAP
Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing an enclosure for protecting at least one connector of a cable. In some embodiments, an enclosure comprises an enclosure housing. The enclosure housing includes a first part and a second part. The first part of the enclosure housing is attached to the second part of the enclosure housing. The first part of the enclosure housing and the second part of the enclosure housing together define a chamber to fully enclose a connector assembly and a connector housing the at least one connector of the cable. The enclosure includes at least one opening disposed at a first end of the enclosure housing. The at least one opening is configured to allow a boot of the at least one connector or the cable of the at least one connector to extend through the at least one opening.
Waterproof structure
A waterproof structure includes a first seal portion covering around an electric wire to be inserted into a mounting hole of an object to which the electric wire is mounted, the electric wire having a conductor and an insulation covering the conductor, and the first seal portion being elastic and electrically insulative, a housing provided at an end portion of the electric wire, the housing covering the first seal portion, the housing being made of an insulating resin having higher rigidity than the first seal portion and a second seal portion covering around the electric wire, being provided contiguously with an end portion of the housing, and being elastic and electrically insulative.
Connector that includes holding body with covering part
A connector includes an insulating housing that is fixed to a casing of a first device at a communication part through which an opening of the casing of the first device and as opening of a casing of a second device communicate with each other, a conductor unit including a plurality of conductors arranged in a row and an insulating holding body integrally molded with the conductors, and a sealing member that seals between the conductor unit and the housing. Each of the conductors includes a plate-shaped body. The holding body includes a fitting part fitted to the housing, a plurality of covering parts each extending from the fitting part along the body and individually surrounding the body, and a connecting part connecting the adjacent covering parts at a position separated from the fitting part.
Housing and Connector
A housing includes: a housing body on which a portion for abutment is formed; an assembly that is detachably assembled to the housing body; and a hinge with which the assembly is mounted on the housing body. The hinge includes (i) a connection that is arranged between the housing body and the assembly, and on which an abutment is formed, (ii) a first joint that is disposed between the housing body and the connection, and has flexibility, and (iii) a second joint that is disposed between the assembly and the connection, and has flexibility. The abutment formed on the connection is allowed to abut on the portion for abutment of the housing body by bending the first joint, and the assembly is assembled to the housing body by bending the second joint in a state in which the first joint is bent.
Method for overmolding at least one line
A method for overmolding at least one line (40) comprises the steps: receiving the at least one line (40) in an opening (14) of a sealing element (10), wherein the opening (34) of the sealing element (10) is substantially complementary in shape to a peripheral geometry of the at least one line (40); mounting the sealing element (10) on a mold (30); overmolding the at least one line (40) received in the sealing element in a region (42) that is adjacent to the sealing element (10) and delimited by the sealing element (10); and removing from the mold (30) the sealing element (10) and the at least one line (40) received therein and overmolded in a region.
Wire harness with elastic tube
A wire harness including an electric wire that has a core wire and a core wire coating that coats the core wire, a connector that is attached to an end of the electric wire, and a seal that is interposed between the electric wire and the connector, wherein a tube with a modulus of elasticity higher than that of the core wire coating, and an outer coating that coats the tube from an outer side are provided between the electric wire and the seal.
Wire harness seal
A wire harness including: an electric wire that includes a core wire and a covering material that covers the core wire; a connector that is attached to an end of the electric wire; and a seal that is interposed between the electric wire and the connector, wherein: the covering material includes a thin portion, which is thinner than other portions of the covering material, at a portion overlapping the seal in a radial direction, the covering material includes a distal-end non-thin portion and a proximal-end non-thin portion on two sides of the thin portion in a longitudinal direction, a first annular stepped surface is formed between the thin portion and the distal-end non-thin portion, and a second annular stepped surface is formed between the thin portion and the proximal-end non-thin portion.
Angular connector
An angular connector and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. The angular connector includes a plug, a transmission cable connected to the plug, an inner molding body covering part of the plug and part of the transmission cable, a positioning case fastened to the plug, and an outer molding body that is connected to the inner molding body and the positioning case. The plug has an insertion slot recessed in an end of the insertion portion. An insertion portion of the plug is maintained to be exposed from the positioning case by an insertion length along the insertion direction, and the insertion length is within a range of 6.5 mm to 6.8 mm. The outer molding body and the positioning case jointly define a corner structure having an angle that is greater than or equal to 90 degrees and that is less than 180 degrees.
