Flip cover assembly for an electrical plug-receptacle pair
The present disclosure envisages a flip cover assembly for an electrical plug-receptacle pair (210-210). The flip cover assembly comprises a flip cover (230), a first coupling element (234) and a second coupling element (240). The first coupling element (234) is formed integral with the flip cover (230). The second coupling element (234) is formed integral with the receptacle (220). The flip cover (230) is hinged to the receptacle by coupling the first coupling element (234) and the second coupling element (240). A cam (238) is configured on the first coupling element (234) to provide a moment of resistance to the rotation of the flip cover (230) from an open state to a closed state and thereby to prevent immediate closing of the flip cover (230). The flip cover assembly of the present disclosure facilitates convenient insertion of a plug in a corresponding receptacle.
Power receptacle with protective cover
The present invention provides a power receptacle with protective functions, which includes a base assembly, a grounding assembly coupled to the base assembly, a first faceplate coupled to a top of the base assembly, and a cover assembly. The first faceplate includes at least one USB (Universal Serial Bus) interface slot electrically coupled to the base assembly. The cover assembly is removably coupled to the first faceplate and configured to cover the USB interface slot. The power receptacle can prevent dust and other objects from entering the slots, thereby ensuring the safety of the receptacle and prolong its life.
CONNECTOR AND CONNECTOR-EQUIPPED ELECTRIC WIRE
A connector includes: a terminal fitting connected to an electric wire; a housing including a housing chamber, an electric wire drawing port, a communication hole, and a counterpart fitting chamber where a gap formed between the counterpart fitting chamber and a counterpart terminal fitting is filled with a first sealing member; a lid member; a second sealing member that fills a gap between these and forms a first sealed space part in the housing with the first sealing member; a waterproof member including one end part in close contact with an end part of the housing, the other end part in close contact with the electric wire drawn from the electric wire drawing port, and a tubular part, the tubular part including a second sealed space part communicating with the first sealed space part through the electric wire drawing port; and a ventilation component.
Electrical outlet mounts and illumination for conductive panel assemblies
An electrical outlet mount for externally mounting on a pair of conductive panes or conductive material on a pair of non-conductive panes. The mount is used for powering electrical/electronic elements and can be installed quickly and easily, and which offers an attractive finish with unobstructed view. The electrical outlet mount has a back end and a front end, a first electrical contact element located at the back end arranged for electrical contact with a first conductive panel and a second electrical contact element located towards the front end, in spaced arrangement from the first electrical contact element for electrical contact with a second conductive panel. The electrical outlet mount may extend out through an opening in one of the panels to receive electrical/electronic elements disposed externally to such space.
Method of assembling contacts into housing via respective contact carriers discrete from one another
A method of making an electrical connector includes steps of providing an insulative housing with a plurality of passageways; providing a plurality of contacts associated with corresponding carriers unitarily formed thereon, respectively; providing an external fixture discrete from the carriers; retaining the carriers on the external fixture; downwardly moving the external fixture to insert the contacts into the corresponding passageways to reach their final positions in the vertical direction, simultaneously; and removing the carriers from the corresponding contacts, respectively.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CONFIGURED FOR POSITIONING ON, AT, IN, OR NEAR BODIES OF AUTOMATIC SWIMMING POOL CLEANERS
Electrical connectors for automatic swimming pool cleaners (APCs) are described. The connectors may be positioned on, at, in, or near bodies of the APCs and configured to be submerged in water of swimming pools. They additionally may be designed to withstand mechanical pulling stresses when their associated electrical cables are pulled by users to remove APCs from the pools. If such a connector is separable, essentially the entirety of the electrical cable may be separated from the APC for purposes of untangling or storing the cable, as examples. The separation additionally may allow for insertion of one or more extension cables as needed or desired.
Modular circuit board multi-tap
A multi-tap device for a cable television (CATV) system includes a tap housing and a faceplate configured to be connected to the tap housing. The device also includes a first circuit board configured to be connected to the tap housing. The device also includes a second circuit board configured to be connected to the faceplate and to the first circuit board. The device also includes an access cover connected to the tap housing. The access cover is configured to be opened to provide access to disconnect the first circuit board from the tap housing and from the second circuit board and to subsequently remove the first circuit board from the tap housing, thereby changing a tap value of the multi-tap device. The second circuit board is configured to remain connected to the faceplate and positioned within the tap housing when the first circuit board is removed from the tap housing.
Power connector with integrated status monitoring
An electronic power connector including at least one contact configured to electrically connect a power supply to a load. The electronic power connector further including an insulating sleeve configured to receive the at least one contact. The insulating sleeve includes a sensor slot located at a first end of the insulating sleeve.
Connector unit for vehicle, motorcycle, and support member
A connector unit for a vehicle includes a connection connector to connect an external connector, and a support member to support the connection connector. The support member includes a cover attachment part attached to a vehicle cover, and a connector support to support the connection connector.
PLUG CONNECTOR
A plug connector for connecting to a mating plug connector along an insertion direction. The plug connector includes a housing including an interior and a contact element situated in the interior. The plug connector further includes a connector position assurance. The housing includes a pressure equalization element for equalizing the pressure of the interior with respect to the exterior of the housing. The CPA is situated at the housing and is movable between a first position and a second position relative to the housing, a sealing element being provided at CPA, the pressure equalization element being sealed with respect to the exterior by the sealing element in the second position.
